Dimplex 2.4KW Oil Column Heater w/ Turbo Fan - White OCR24FA

When it arrived the end panel was not connected at the top, I had to remove the bottom screws and insert the top lugs into the retainer points then rescrew the bottom back in place - more annoying that a big deal - the type of fault you would have had 30 years ago before Total Quality Management was created. Unit itself works well, I have a 50m2 office and it takes the chill off in an hour and I turn it off in another hour. Fan does not add much.

A good column heater for mid-sized room

Appliancesonline delivered the heater when it promised to, which is usual. The heater was well packaged and so no damage. Unboxing was easy and heater was straightforward to get going. Instructions were easy to read and follow. Heater works well with options to get preferred settings. Turbo fan works well.Only issue I have is that the power cord is rather short and basically you need an extension. Would buy again.

A solid heater that takes the chill out of Winter

A solid heater that can take the chill out of a medium sized room on an ice cold Winter night and get a room to a comfortable temperature quite quickly. It is power hungry though so depending on the size of your typical energy bill, you may want to be mindful of how long you use it for.Things of note:- It works best with the small fan at the front turned on.- The fan ejects the warm air out of the side not the front- The small fan does make some noise and isn't as quiet as I'd like it to be- The markings on the dials weren't clear in their function, so I had to refer to the manual very briefly to determine their correct use.Overall I'm happy with my purchase and I would consider buying a Dimplex product again.

Great heater in the cold weather

This heater is powerful and effective in cold weather. I'm not exactly sure how to use the controls, but it's doing the job and keeping out the cold.

Great product

I’ve never used a heater like this before but was pleasantly surprised. It was easy to assemble, with clear instructions for use. It also heats up the room much faster than anticipated

Great size and looks.

This heater is a perfect size for putting inside my clothes horse, so it can dry clothes and heat the room. Oil heaters aren't going to get the room to tropical temperatures, but combine this heater with a temperature probe outlet to read actual room temperature and it becomes more efficient.

Lightweight with great features

Solid build from a reputable brand. Heats up pretty fast with the turbo fan. Size wise it's very compact which is convenient for storage, and at the same time does the same job as any other bigger sized 2.4kW oil column heater.

Super Warm and easy to use

This heater is very effective. Most important of all it’s an oil heater that is very simply designed - two dials that are easy to understand (our last heater was a dimplex eco and you needed a masters degree to turn it on).

Works perfectly

I’ve owned Dimplex heaters before, they’ve always been well-made and this one is no exception. The turbo fan is a welcome addition on this model, it heats our granny flat quickly and safely.
