Also worth noting that it's plastic (though you'd have to touch it to realise) and that, while the flame effect has no heating properties whatsoever, it has to be on for the heater to work - would have been nice to be able to just switch that off so the heater would work in total darkness.
Love the flame effects! Great smaller heater. Pumps out enough heat for a big room. Mesmerising flames in a darkened room. Lovely ambience.
My first time buying a flame effect heater and I really love it.So cosy and comforting and not far off from the real thing, Just don't try and put an extra log in the fire on this one ;-)My only small complaint is it would have been nice if the casing was entirely made of metal.Still very happy
Bought this a few months ago and really pleased with aesthetics and the realist flames. Makes our living room feel warm and cosy. Would recommend as an alternative to log burner
Had to return this item as was really unhappy with it. It didn’t heat as well as my previous fan heater and it was really noisy and rattled when operating. The fire effect was ok but not as good as expected. Really wanted to fall in love with this heater but it didn’t really stack up in terms of warmth, effect or noise. Sorry team!
It’s a good little heater. Puts out good heat straight away. Kids play with the door and add their own things to the wood pile. The only down fall is finding the on/off switches. There are pretty hidden which isn’t good for my Airbnb quests.
Best heater I have ever owned. This really ticks all the boxes for me. It's safe to use, looks great and heats the room quickly with little cost. Now when it is cold outside I enjoy every part of having this heater to watch as it warms my home
This looks lovely but only when the downlighter is covered over. The downlighter highlights the fakeness of the logs but after covering the downlighter it looks amazing. I emailed Dimplex to ask them how to remove the downlighter bulb but they have never replied so don't think much of them as a business.
