Dine Wet Cat Food Beef & Liver in Gravy

My cat is obsessed with Dine. We alternate between the chicken salmon and tuna mornay flavours and he always finishes the serving. I buy the Dine tray because it’s so easy to open and serve directly from the tray with no mess and after a quick rinse out the packaging is fully recyclable! There are often great specials on Dine in Woolworths which keep me coming back.

A no from my cat

I have had my rescue kitty for 5 years and other than just being a great cat, she is also wonderfully not a fussy eater. So I was completely stunned by her behavior with the Dine cat food! She licked up the sauce and one-by-one she took every single piece of the morsels, made a little pile of the them and put them a foot away from her bowl in order to lick the remainder of the sauce up! WOW! She has never done anything even remotely like this with any sort of food. I had to make sure she wasn't just having a weird day, so I gave her another tray a few days later: she did exactly the same with the second tray. So yep, she has spoken: this is a definite miss.

Always gets finished in our house!

I have two cats a senior citizen & a jolly junior ! (10 yo & 2 yo) My senior is a bit fussy but he actually loved the Dine wet food. He's always been more a fish lover but this one he looked to enjoy! My junior licked all the gravy off the meat and left the majority of the meat. Not sure why as he eats other meat pieces. There's never any waste in our house! If one of our cats doesn't finish the meal, the other usually will. And if that system fails, our little dog will usually lick the bowl clean.

Great brand, good flavour

As a pet owner, the food that your pet eats should be appealing to all senses of both the animal and yourself. This looked the part, and without knowing any better I would have thought upon opening the food that this would be a success with the cat too. Unfortunately, while after several attempts I was able to get her to eat some, she now has a taste for the turkey pieces in gravy flavour and is adverse to change. My cat is very fussy and I would still suggest giving this flavour a chance based on my experience.

I can always tell when something is a winner when they finish their meal and then go take a long nap afterwards! I liked that it was very easy to dish out for them. Each container was easy to open and the food easily slipped out into the bowl. These were little loafs and for my older cat, I made quick slices into the the loaf to make it easier for him, but all food disappeared from their bowls. They seemed happy and very satisfied.

It's just ok

I have two cats, one who is a little fussy, the other who is a greedy piggy. Greedy cat loved this, of course, but fussy cat only licked the gravy but left the chunkier pieces of food. Overall I thought the product was ok, it didn't have an overpowering smell, it looked reasonably appetising for cat food and one of my cats seemed to enjoy it. I probably wouldn't rush out to buy it again though, I prefer to buy something they will both eat, but I'm sure it was a nice change for them and good to try something new.

Kitties were over the moon!

As soon as I opened the tray, I was surrounded by my two darlings dying for a taste of what they could smell. And it really does smell like a turkey dinner! I cut the slices into chunks for my older kitty, but the younger one had no problems eating the slices. They each had a tray to themselves and both finished all of the food offered - something that doesn't happen often. Then they found a nice warm place to groom and soon were slumbering happily dreaming.

Perfect Complete Meal For Cats

DINE Saucy Morsels with Ocean Fish (canned cat food) is a new wet food favourite for my cats! Each of my three cats lick their plate clean each time and then spend far longer than usual licking their paws and grooming themselves afterward - A sure sign that they're satisfied! I have used this brand before, but not this flavour, and on seeing my cats reaction to eating this food I think I'd feel cruel not continuing to give it to them on a regular basis! I love the presentation of the "meal" when I pull open the tin and crazily, even the smell! I can tell it's high quality and upon doing some personal research I'm very happy with the love and expertise that's gone into the science and design of this nourishing food.

all carbs, no meat

The carb content is as ridiculous as the ingredients list and "xx-flavoured" just tells me it's more gravy than meat. The carbs give energy my adult indoor cat just can't conceivably burn. Not only is he keeping me up at dawn with his zooming, he's also gaining weight. He didn't zoom like this when I had him on ziwi. If you're looking for cheap cat food, get the next one on your list because it can't be worse than this.
