This is a 50ML of Diptyque eau Duelle EDT. I will start with saying I am so open to the world of parfum. I try not to box myself into a particular blend of notes. Its sweet, green, soft, still a bit brite. I get the cardamom vanilla as I enter the dry down it is soooooooo dayum gooooood! It is cardamom leading with the vanilla wrap around it. They are equal parts for a period of time then the vanilla takes the lead. Now we have this soft, fluffy, cloud of vanilla. The vanilla is yummy plays with the saffron on a powdery cloud that I can assume is the musk. This musk is beautiful. It is absolutely captivating. I can not stop smelling my hand. At different moments of the dry down, I can actually catch a soft scent bubble of the opening pines. It is such a unique vanilla. OMG, I can NOT keep my nose off my hand 😂🤣 I just know I will get great wear as we enter the "Holiday" run. She is definitely coming with me when I pick up my Christmas tree. THAT'S IT! She is everything I imagine Colorado to be during the holidays!!! The cold, clean, crisp breeze in the air. You hear it pass through the leaves of various tall green trees thick burgundy woods. A mount of fresh fallen snow that lights up outside our huge panoramic window view. The warm, cozy attire thick knits. An oversized, soft cashmere blanket to wrap yourself in while holding nice warm, vanilla drink of something something... with marshmallows of course, Lol. Oh how I can't wait to rent a cabin do Christmas in Colorado. Diptyque eau Duelle is Christmas in Colorado! Everything Winter is meant to be!

Eau Duelle is the vanilla that made me a fan of vanillas. Prior to this, I associated vanillas to sickenly sweet, cloying scents that typically give me a headache. This is a beautiful green vanilla scent. The greeness to this adds a touch of freshness that prevents it from being too warm or too sweet. The incense in this adds for a subtle smokiness that brings an extra dimension to the overall scent. When I smell this, I picture being in a library with beautifully ornate wooden walls, with the smell of vanilla thats stuck to the wood and the books. When it completely dries down, my nose smells the most lovely vanilla that smells like you are entering a luxurious resort or hotel lobby. I adore this perfume. Hands down, this is my favorite vanilla, and I have quite a few! The first note I smell is the resin, which is incredibly smooth and rounded, and then there's a bit of greenness from the juniper. To my nose, everything is so well blended here, I can't really pick apart the smells too much. This perfume is such an easy reach, and you can wear it without feeling like it's generic. The vibe that I get with this perfume is a little woodland fairy that's got the tiniest dash of sweetness, but mixed with earthiness and woodiness. This feels like being enveloped in a cozy hug during the winter, but I could see this being used during cooler nights in the summer. Absolute love.

This scent is insaneee. At first I didn’t know how I felt about it, as I usually wear very “vanilla-y” fragrances. Eau Duelle is so unique and smells like a rich girl vanilla. It gives me garden fairy vibes as it has a little bit of a green ish smell. Just absolutely amazing. Only this is I wish it lasted longer🥹

Beautiful, intimate vanilla

My go to, signature scent. I’ve heard it can be a bit precocious for some folks, but it works perfectly for my skin chemistry, and has a lot of longevity for me (I’ll often still smell it as I hop into the shower after a long day).Thought it’s predominantly an intimate scent, it’s got surprisingly good projection and I’ve had people double back to chase me down and find out what scent I’m wearing. It’s a softly spiced vanilla that doesn’t read as vanilla. It’s softly cozy but on my skin also feels fresh and youthful after a few hours. Absolutely adore it.

Fizzy lemons

Oyedo from Diptyque is one of my most favourite summer scents. It is such a great fragrance of fizzy lemons, so refreshing in the summer heat. It elevates my mood and stays on my skin for 5-6 hours. Then it leaves some nice warm sweet scent. Not as citrusy as at first. One more thing is this is the only Diptyque fragrance that causes some light rashes when I apply it directly to the chest. But it doesn’t bother me a lot.

My fav signature scent

I had spent the better part of a whole week trying to find a nice clean scent that has those warm notes of vanilla, and eau duelle is perfect. It sprays a very clean almost woody initially, but as it warms on the skin, the vanilla peeks through. I constantly get compliments whenever I where this. My only qualm is that it doesn't linger. That said it's a beautiful scent and worth every penny.

Orange , warm sophisticated scent

Orange scented fragrance seems to be a trend for summer 2023 . So I looked over some lists of best citrus scented fragrances and this one was listed . After reading reviews I decided it would be a smell for me. Every layer of Oyedo is wonderful . Starting with a heavy orange to a warm sophisticated fragrance perfect for summer . I could see this being a unisex scent . Strong but not overpowering, highly recommend.

The initial spray smells strongly of fresh citrus-mandarin in particular, and dries down to a softer, sweeter citrus with more of the Yuzu and thyme shining through. I absolutely love the freshness and pungency! This is a perfect summer fragrance, but one I love so much, I wear it year 'round. I'm very impressed by the longevity of this fragrance as citrus fragrances are notorious for being short lived. Perfect spicy vanilla

Perfect spicy vanilla. I’m not a gourmand fan but I do love vanilla, and this is it if you appreciate vanilla as a spice. There’s an incense note that is stronger in the beginning but dries down gently to add depth and richness to the spice — for me it’s almost rootbeer-like (in a good way). I also tried the EDP but it was too incense-dominant for my taste; I think EDT is more balanced and allows the range of notes to play together beautifully.
