The floss is beautiful, holds its color and does not twist or ball up. The end product is beautiful. I use it to make a baby sampler and the parents have it to share with their new baby. People do not sew much anymore but with this product they will see that it is easy to do and looks beautiful at the end. What a great keepsake for the baby and parents!

I've learned the hard way to only use DMC embroidery floss! All others aren't as soft and smooth as DMC and get horribly tangled up when you're trying to separate strands. DMC is the only kind that works for me!

DMC Green Mouline Special 25 Cotton Thread 8m (3818)Is a beautiful stranded cotton thread and has a lovely sheen on it .. so when using in embroidery the colour shines. It is 8 meters long and easily separated in to individual strands or multiples.
Very happy with the wide variety of colors that you carry. The DMC thread is easy to use as it does not fray as bad as some other threads. You would think with over 37 years of stitching I would have every color, but you keep adding more and they are beautiful.
The color selection of embroidery floss at Michaels is excellent. I can always find the correct shade, even if I'm doing some intricate gradients. The section is organized well, which is often half the problem at stores. And as always, the price at Michaels can't be beat. This store is my go-to place to buy floss.
As cross stitch is returning to popularity I have returned to DMC for my floss needs. They have what I believe is the widest color selection that can be found. Here I am some 40 years since learning how to properly cross stitch it seems there is a much wider selection in patterns available. What was once florals, wildlife and samplers of script types I find myself completing a ‘sampler’ of 150 original Pokémon for a friend.
This is the price for an 8-pack. It is ONE ITEM. Returned item and bought same amount in-store for $0.66 along with other colors. Good brand, bad sale.
I made our grandson a graduation card that resembled his cap and gown. I used embroidery floss to make the honor cords. I used a gold, a red, and a light blue. They turned out great! We have many more graduations yet to come. If I need more floss, I know where to get it!
