This is a very pretty perfume, and I particularly love the top and middle notes. It opens with a strong, refreshing scent of citrus. The peach, litchi, and bergamot are what I detect the most and I absolutely love it. After an hour, the litchi still remains, but soft florals of jasmine and lily begin to poke through. It quickly evolves into a perfect balance of fruits and floral. Because of the strong fruity floral scent, I started wondering why so many people said this was best worn in the fall/winter. It still smelled pretty light and soft, so I couldn’t understand why people were calling this “warm.” But then three hours after wearing this, the incredibly warm vanilla and amber broke all trace of the citrus and floral, and I finally understood why this would not be best for summer. I know I would feel suffocated by the strong vanilla if I wore this in the summer heat. The transformation of this perfume on my skin is very dramatic—it started off like summer citrus and floral, and then became winter vanilla and amber. By the fourth hour, the amber was completely vanished and all I smelled was vanilla. Totally in love with this! Will buy it again! Over and over .

As soon as I took the product out of the shipping packaging I was very impressed, the light blue suede box looked very stylish and showed real quality; which to me already got me thinking the quality of the aftershave must be high standards to match the box. At this point I would like to say the nozzle to spray has a good coverage and just about the right amount of vapour; which only leaves you needing a few sprays to be smelling great. The actual fragrance of the DolceandGabbana light blue is something very unique, they have managed to blend citrus fruit and juniper to create a special fruity but masculine fragrance. They have managed to blend the subtle essence of rosewood and Sichuan pepper to give the Light Blue it's musky yet fruity smell which leaves an extremely pleasant odour. First comments I got was from the wife who thought it smelt very beautiful, and then I received comments from work about how nice I smelt. Even I could smell the fragrance and what impressed me more is how long it actually lasted which for me is very impressive as I normally struggle to find a long lasting aftershave. Overall I'm very impressed with firstly the quality and style of the DolceandGabbana Light Blue but mostly how beautifully they have made a masculine but summer style aftershave. This is the first product I have used from DolceandGabbana and I would 100% recommend this and look to purchase their products in the future

I honestly cannot get enough of this perfume. Upon first smell you immediately receive the rich layers of the scent. There’s no alcoholic smell when you spray it; it’s ambrosia in a bottle. It’s a very unique and lovely scent that everyone who smells always adores. This perfume should be considered a classic. The only criticism I have for this perfume is that the lasting power is not amazing. It lasts longer on clothing than it does skin, which is normally around 2-4 hours. Trust me when I tell you, however, that the smell is so incredible that this is not a deterrent. There’s layers of spice, musk, fruits, and Amber.

The perfume has a strong vanilla fragrance that is underlined with a slight peach note. It reminds me a little bit of peach strudel. Once the fragrance is on the skin, the slight jasmine touch comes out. Cute but not overfading. A very pleasant smell that would be appropriate even in the office as it is not unpleasant chemical straightening. I use the fragrance more for the day because it is rather soft and inconspicuously pleasant. The special posititv is that this fragrance is very long lasting (with me it's 7-8 hours). Un even at the end of a long day you get a slight vanilla /jasmine smell. The main notes I would describe as: vanilla, peach, amber, jasmine

If you have the OG The One you dont need this too. This on my skin is not powdery, but rather crisp and more sharp, and stays sharp longer. It is more floral than fruity. The One is sweeter, more syrupy and it is very balsamic, this is why I started loving The One, it reminded me of how incense smells. I imagine L'Eau to be more compatible with oily skin types, because such crisp, dry, sharp perfumes dont work on my dry skin. Its drydown is very much like The One, so it is as beautiful, but lighter. Like I said overall it is less sweet, not as balsamic, slightly dusty ambery at first, but they have the same DNA. The tangerine makes it more citruys than The One, quite reminiscent of Fenty's citrusy vibe (tangerine there too). It is suitable for those who didnt like how syrupy and sweet The One is. Im on a gourmand craze so I crave sweet, deep, strong scents and The One totally delivers in that department. I live for vetiver, amber and I love anything benzoin, incense so you get the point. The scent from the sprayer of both L'Eau and The One remind me strongly of Honey by Marc Jacobs which I used to have (mandarin, peach common notes).

However the bottle is a bit average and could be more colorful and so could the shape instead of being an average rectangle. If I ddint recieve this as a gift and went out to buy it I'd probably overlook it as being cliche or nothing out of the ordinary. But thankfully it was a gift because I love it. It has a nice floral scent on me and it's not overpowering it lasts longer than most perfumes but it doesn't last all day like some which is disappointing considering the price, I feel it's a bit much. Oh man I reviewed this on Sephora. I was gifted a 5ml bottle, small indeed but mighty. This review may be unfair because fragrance is a very personal thing. Well let me tell you! This is lovely on everyone else. On me it smells like a tobacco covered mint at the bottom of Nana's leather purse. A musty bingo hall in the early 2000s with yellowed nicotine coated walls and ceiling. Holy $%!¥ does this smell bad on me. Old stale moist tobacco. With an under smell of cheap purse mints stolen from a Chinese buffet.

This is a good and feminine perfume. It just gives off this creamy, smooth, pretty scent. Perfect for the office because people will smell you but it won't overwhelm them. it stay strong for the first 2-3 hours give or take but it does last 6-8 hours. It just stops projecting and smells a bit weaker around the 4-6th hour. Great date fragrance also! Definitely worth the price in my opinion and better than the original.

Middle notes are Lily, Plum, Jasmine and Lily Of The Valley. Base notes are vanilla, Amber, Musk and Vevtier. I love the scent of The One. It is one of the most luxurious and scrumptious scents I’ve ever smelled. The opening is bit soapy, floral and sharp. After ten minutes it’s soft and beautiful and gets creamier and dreamier with time. It’s pure sexy as the night goes on. If the scent works with your body chemistry, you’ll never want to wear anything else. I totally recommend it. 🔥
