A tiny bit of extra drilling adjusted the shape/alignment of the holes in question (invisible behind mount bracket once assembled, no compromise to strength of apparatus).

Best in class and worth the price. It doesn't take too much space. It's firm and study if fixed properly. However, when I enquired you only anchor bolts with specs 3 inches and 8mm are to find, it that go for 4 inch anchor with 8mm thickness.

Spent almost an entire day with different anchor bolts, wall bolts and other things to fix it to the wall, but just ended up with a wall full of holes and a house full of dust. It would have been better if it was indicated in bright words that it should be fixed at your own risk.

Definitely not diy projects unless you have hammer drill and knowledge of wall mounting. You will have to source a carpenter who knows how to wall mount, if not you'll end up ruining the wall. I got the wrong bolts( wall mounting bolts are not provided and and manual doesn't mention which ones to get ) 8mm anchor bolts fyi. You will have to spend another 1k-1.5k for getting it fixed.(includes the Carpenter's fee and anchor bolts 10pcs bcoz you won't get 4 when you order online). It's was very time consuming and hectic experience after purchasing. It's been almost been a month and still haven't got it fixed.
The product is solid and fantastic. One huge disadvantage is that, there isn't any screws or bolts to mount it on the wall after assembling.Figure out a way to mount it on the wall with an expert technician and you'll have the perfect pull up bar ever
First and foremost, the fact that its foldable makes the structure really weak. It's pretty shaky and not safe to use. The entire bar rely on one small metal piece which keeps the bar in place.Screws to drill on the wall were not provided! I had to look for screws in other stores, which was really hard to fit the size of the pull up bar.Been using it for over 2 week now and it's falling apart. Thank you Decathlon.
Pull up bar is good & sturdy though it is costlier than other brand. However the worst part they have not provided any Fastener to mount this on wall by giving lame excuse that all the walls differs. I need to purchase 6 inches Anchor fastner costed me Rs. 50 Per Pcs.secondly it is quite big in size & You need highly professional carpenter to install this. It is been 10 days & more and it is still unsuccessful to mount the pull up bar. It would have appreciated if there must be any installation provided for such a costlier & branded Equipment. Not satisfied.
I bought this via store pickup and I know that there is no wall plug and screws included,so during I asked the staff for the correct size screw and wall plug, they don't know about the size and even told me to use "plastic" wall plugs (never do that). They should at least know the basics of the product they sell in their store.I picked up the product and went to a hardware shop and bought "M10 bolts" that's the perfect one for this. Other than the staff, I really love this product; it's premium and sturdy. Installation by yourself can be tedious.
Bought these before the lock down in February and so pleased I did as allows me to do a range of pull up exercises in my own home. I had them fitted in my garage to a brick wall but needed my builder to do it for me as the drill and fixings I had were not up to the job. That is the only downside. But apart from that they are very good. After a couple of months of use I can really feel the benefit and can do pull-ups like I could never do before. I still gave them 5 out of 5 as I love them. If I had to have one piece of equipment it would be these. I have watched the online training video for these as well and I am going to get a training band now also just to help me do more and more difficult pulls up so I can get better each time. Thanks
Very well designed. I am 85 kgs and when I do pull-ups I feel safe and confident because of the sturdiness.I mounted on 18 mm plywood and then mounted plywood on wall with multiple ss screws.I felt unreliable mounting directly on wall using anchor Fastners so used plywood.
