Donna Karan Gold 1.7 oz Eau de Parfum Spray for Women

In my search for the perfect lily fragrance, I came across this vintage Donna Karan fragrance I did not know much about. Gold has a gorgeous bottle, very elegant, making me wonder whatever happened to fragrances today and to the bottle designers?! The fragrance is a very dense lily and locust mix, with creamy amber and some very faint spices. To me, it smells like old Hollywood glam, like satin dresses and heavy gold jewelry, like red carpets and flashlights. It smells like feathers and furs and photographers yelling at gorgeous actresses to get a glance for a perfect shot.

Discontinued scent from the early 2000's

This is the most wonderful scent but no longer in production. Get it while you can. A sophisticated complex scent. Not too sweet, kind of softly powdery. Glad I found it before it was gone forever.

I bought this for my daughter who thought it was

I bought this for my daughter who thought it was nice but the smell did not last for long. I do not think it is something you can reccomend everyone has different preferences where perfumed is concerned. I knew the kind of perfume to buy but it had no staying power. !!

I expected a more modern fragrance

i bought this one for my daughter but it would be better directed towards my grandmother. Its not bad but its also not interesting. same old same old. Since I have always been happy with DK fragrances, I imagined this would be the case. Since the price was attractive, my disappointment was not overwhelming.

I hve had this before but I paid a lot

I hve had this before but I paid a lot more for it than I have on MyPerfumeShop. It is a rich, distinctive scent and I always feel good when I wear it. A very sensual fragrance! I hadn't smelt this before, but I do like it, it is very different and I would say for a woman not a girl as it is a rich distinctive scent that is spicy and sensual.

I like it for my everyday perfume

Michael Kors developed this when he was working for Donna Karan. It is different. I like it for my everyday perfume. Many people compliment me. I cannot even began to describe it. It is a scent that both a man and woman could wear. Nothing like the weak scents we have today.

I love this fragrance and totally disagree that its 'old

I love this fragrance and totally disagree that its 'old biddy' . Its not of todays fruity genre but its a heady, sexy evening fragrance that is perfect for winter evenings out. The scent doesn't fade too quickly either. Worth every penny and will remain a favourite of mine!

I love this perfume, I've used it for the past

I love this perfume, I've used it for the past 4 years (not the same bottle, obviously) and have gotten MANY compliments about smelling nice! Each time I meet a friend and give them a hug, I almost always get a comment about it and I just spray once on each side of my neck in the morning. It's not too strong as to annoy the people around me but anybody coming within very close proximity of my head will notice it. I would say it's totally worth the money and I will use it for as long as they keep producing it! I tend to keep a smaller 50ml bottle in my bag just in case it needs topping up for special occasions but it doesn't happen so often as it really lasts for a long time, especially if you spray it in your hair.

Spicy Lily Scent

I'm a perfume nut and I love this lily scent. It's really similar to Frederic Malle's Lys Mediterranee but a fraction of the price. It's a spicy lily scent that sexy but strong. It's been discontinued so I'm trying to stock up. If you like lily scents with a hint of pepper and ginger, this is a good one.The bottle is very pretty too-covered with hammered gold-and looks nice on a dresser.
