Great product and very comfortable, I bought this product to be used in a tiny house (where space is limited) as an additional bedding for guests and/or their kids.I have been looking for an easy use, good quality and suitable (to be used in a tiny house) sofa bed for sometimes.Love the queen size option. Not many these type sofa beds offers actual sleeping area is queen size.Good support, firm cushion as sofa and sofa bed. Hopefully will last longer (I guess time will tell).Perhaps the only suggestion for these design will be not to place sitting sofa directly on the floor when used as sofa bed. (In case when floor or carpet is dirty)Will definitely come back for more orders in the near future.

Super happy with my new cushy sofa bed! It was delivered in just two days, which was perfect timing for my friend who was staying over on the weekend. Setting it up was a piece of cake! The cushy sofa bed has been a game changer for my spare bedroom/office. It's really helped me free up space, which is awesome. My friend even said it was as 'cushy' as a regular koala mattress 😉 plus its really easy to set up and pack away. All in all, I totally recommend the cushy sofa bed if you want something comfortable but still want to save space. It's made taking my WFH meetings a much more pleasant experience

We love glamping in nature for movie nights or when the bedroom gets too hot in summer. We started gampling in the house for a while and we would drag the mattress to the lounge room. I was getting a bit fed up with dragging the mattress and my search for a fold out couch that was not only comfortable but extremely easy to set up ended up with the Koala Cushy Sofabed. To our surprise it only take seconds to unfold and the cushioning is great for sleeping. We also tuck in a fitted sheet to the underside so it’s always ready to go and it’s hidden when it’s used as a sofa.We loved this couch that much that we bought another one and made them our lounge room couches and we added the ottoman for extra comfort… which stores our fleecy throw rugs. The tinny colour doesn’t ... MoreWe love glamping in nature for movie nights or when the bedroom gets too hot in summer. Hi. I purchased a 2.5-seater sofa bed from Koala not long ago. We needed another bed for visitors. I researched a lot of websites but kept coming back to Koala. Why you ask? I was happy with the price; the bed looked great on the website, and I loved the way the bed unfolded. Putting the bed together was a charm with no screws, just castors and a clip was all that was needed. Including a mattress was an extra treat as most sofa beds require you to buy a separate mattress. My brother of 71 years slept on the bed, and he was very happy with the size and the comfort of the mattress. He said he slept soundly. Overall, we are happy with sofa bed. Please note the bed can be quite heavy and will need two people to put it together.
I had two of the cushy sofa bed. Unfortunately I was unlucky that some strands had fallen off. I had asked for assistance and Jamie and the Koala team had given me replacements and everything! It was a good process and they were always willing to help and communicate. The whole process was seamless. The cushy sofa bed is so sleek and elegant. I live in an apartment and I had bought two of these because they were just the perfect size. On the weekends we sleep on the sofa bed in front of the TV to wind down and it is super comfortable. Could not recommend it more to anyone else. It is also easy to clean and maintain plus washable covers which is a plus!
If you’re after the perfect mix of style, functionality and comfort, the award-winning Koala Cushy Sofa Bed is an excellent choice.I’d already heard lots of good things about Koala products but was a little hesitant mainly because of the higher price point. At $1990 for a 3-seater, I can honestly say it’s worth paying that little bit extra this time around for the value that you get with the Koala Cushy sofa bed. That’s because right now, I have a pretty busy lifestyle and working week, and I love coming home to rest and recharge.Particularly during winter, I really look forward to putting on the ugg boots and my Oodie and settling in for a chilled night of a movie, streaming a series or some gaming. My sofa receives a lot of mileage in this way, and after a long ... MoreIf you’re after the perfect mix of style, functionality and comfort, the award-winning Koala Cushy Sofa Bed is an excellent choice.I’d already heard lots of good things about Koala products but was a little hesitant mainly because of the higher price point. My sofa receives a lot of mileage in this way, and after a long day on my feet, I’m pleased to say that the Koala Cushy Sofa Bed has become a welcomed part of my evenings, and is worth your attention.
Very happy with our koala cushy sofa bed. Delivery was timely, construction straightforward with easy-to-follow directions, and am pleased with the quality. The sofa is firm, but not too firm. It’s really quite comfortable. Also appreciate how easy it is to fold out and put away the bed, which is far superior to sofa beds with fold-out metal frames - both in practicality and comfort. So much better than those incredibly thin and uncomfortable mattresses you often get with other sofa beds. Something to be mindful of if considering a koala cushy sofa bed yourself, is that the bed is quite low to the ground, so can be difficult for people with mobility difficulties to get up out of after a good night’s rest.
I like the couch and the bed part is very comfortable when used with the overlay provided. The down side is that the mattress overlay is so large and hard to store. The fabric of the couch looks good and will be easy to hide stains/ marks but in my opinion it’s not very soft/ comfortable. Feels kind of scratchy. I guess you can’t have everything. This couch is in our preteen boys bedroom so it serves its purpose in that space perfectly. Mates can sleep over, they can eat food on the couch, play video games without stressing. It would not be my first choice in my main living area but for a man cave, gaming room, kids lounge I think it’s good.
We chose Koala because it offers far more colours than competitors. I love that the green genuinely does look like eucalyptus leaves. It's also very firm to sit on as a sofa. So for those with bad backs, it's a welcome departure from the vast majority of sofas where you sink like a stone.Quality looks top notch - the bottom base boards that the mattress/sofa cushion seem reasonably strong. Given they do look a little thin, however, I wouldn't be encouraging the kids to use it as a trampoline. We also love that it comes in single, double and queen size, whereas competitors often don't offer that range. When you're in an apartment, a double bed for the occasional guests is often far more practical than a queen. The finished sofa bed is also quite light, so easy to move around.Construction is straightforward - we had become so used to flat packs that come with Allen keys and 20 screws, and this cost sofa bed needed none! That said, we couldn't find any construction videos of this latest version on Koala's YouTube channel - only of an older model. We also found it a bit tricky slotting one of the side pieces into the back piece via their metal brackets as one bracket was embedded so deeply. It didn't take too long to solve, though it did require a bit of muscle (if you're less mobiles, you'll want someone else to help) to manoeuvre. The side cushions that cover the armrests are a matter of taste We like their casual, relaxed look. Some may find the look a bit "floppy" and kids will find it easy to pull them out, for better or worse.Overall we are pretty happy, especially with the colour and size choice vs competitors.
I read so many reviews online before purchasing the Queen Cushy Sofa Bed. With all the glowing reviews, I couldn’t help but wonder if they were incentivised reviews, but with an easy returns policy I decided to give it a go. The reviews are not fake. This sofa bed is a weapon. We had a few people stay during the first 120 days (in the returns window) and I asked for honest feedback. They ALL said it was the best night sleep they’d had in a long time. Still dubious, it wasn’t until my partner and I got COVID and had to sleep on the cushy for a week that we realised they were telling the truth. This sofa bed IS GOOD. We both have fantastic sleeps and were not in a rush to go back to the main bed.The cushy sofa is good quality and slots together easily. It folds up easily and is the perfect addition to a WFH office/spare bedroom. From ordering to delivery, everything was easy.. my dog also loved the nice touch little Koala teddy that came with the order. I’m sorry Koala, I will never doubt you again.
