This Downy Wrinkle Releaser product is a critical part of my cleaning/clothing care. It is most obviously marketed as a wrinkle releaser, helping you avoid ironing, which it does very well. I don't use it if I need to iron a suite for any interview or some other extremely important instance, in those cases I will have my suit dry cleaned and pressed, or iron the outfit myself. I probably use it for that more than straight wrinkle releasing. 99% of the time after I wear a suit, or a dry-clean only dress, I haven't actually gotten it so dirty that I needs a full dry cleaning. This product allows me to wear those types of clothing multiple times before I need to pony up and pay for the expense of dry cleaning. In addition to helping me save money, I feel like using this Downy Wrinkle Releaser helps extend the life of my clothes, because they go through less chemical treatments at the dry cleaners. The "light fresh scent" of this product is the perfect amount of subtle freshness, without being too strong, or smelling like chemicals. I have tried private label and generic brands of clothing wrinkle releasers, but I can definitely tell the difference when I use this Downy product. It releases wrinkles better than generic products, and smells better too. I highly recommend Downy's Wrinkle Releaser.

I’m not sure what happened to the other formula I was using but it was better than this one. I don’t understand changing things that worked in retail and manufacturing. It did nothing in the way of releasing even light wrinkles, furthermore it doesn’t have any scent. I am disappointed.

Ironless

This amazing product does exactly what it claims to do! The product name pretty much sums up it's absolute potential! It works within minutes! Spray on clothing generously then simply mimick a dryer! Put hands in clothing and stretch material, twist %26 shape then hang up until your ready to dress. I would recommend this product to ANYONE tired of physically ironing with an iron.

Miracle worker on a trip abroad!

I couldn't bring my steamer with me on my trip to the UK (more due to the voltage than outlets) and someone had recommended I try this instead. It is a miracle worker! It got wrinkles out of all my clothes throughout the trip and I didn't even use up half the bottle in the 9 days that we were there. The second hotel we were at had a steamer but it didn't work and I was so grateful I had this! Perfect in a pinch and great for traveling abroad. Keeps clothes smelling fresh and clean, too!

Not perfect but good in a pinch

I recently traveled to South Korea and used compression bags to enable me to carry a medium size suitcase instead of a large one. I used a travel size Downey Wrinkle Release to spray the clothes I planned to wear the next day so they had time to dry completely and let the fabric relax once out of the compression bag. To my amazement, the Downey Wrinkle Release did a really good job of removing the wrinkles. While not every wrinkle disappeared, the overall result was a much smoother appearance. I’ll definitely buy this product again!

Not what I hoped

Love the small size I thought I can bring that with me while traveling. Decided to test it out on my various clothes that have light wrinkling to them. Have to say it did not work. I didn’t really have a fresh scent or anything, and it definitely did not help with the wrinkles not any more than spritzing your clothes with a water bottle. May try another brand.

Stops Cling

Perfect size to pack. As I am required to wear compression stockings for better health, the socks are sure to cling to my dress or casual knit pants. A spritz of Downy Wrinkle Release on my knee high socks before pulling on my pants, helps stop static cling. The travel size fits perfectly in a small suitcase as well as in my nightstand drawer next to where I get dressed. everyday.

This product is amazing!

The best de- wrinkle spray!!This stuff is a gold mine for moms on the go! I also loath ironing and laundry with kids this is a must.. this is like magic! You just spray on and shake or tug a little and the wrinkles disappear before your eyes! Some fabrics may take a little more but it’s an amazing product. Also, the scent is very mild when sprayed on but almost goes away completely when dry for those that don’t like strong smells or scent at all! I will definitely be buying this in a larger size for home!

completly unwrinkled

love this product. It's the perfect take along on trips. Especially because we ride motorcycles. our space to pack clothes is limited and even folded they wrinkle. I never go without my travel size. a great quick fix to looking unwrinkled. well worth any price. but its reasonably priced. highly reccomend

great for static

This spray was purchased as a stocking stuffer to reduce static. It works very well for that. Spritz in a beanie or on a scarf and you won’t look like a science experiment when you take them off. It can also be sprayed directly on hair or skin. Refreshes clothing a bit, too. Spritz and toss in dryer or (less effectively) smooth with hands or hang in a steamy bathroom. I highly recommend putting the bottle in a plastic baggie to put in purse or luggage. The bottle I bought came a little less from leakage, and if held upside down or on their side, some will leak. The smell is not over-powering but does smell like Downy. I’m sensitive to chemicals and some perfumes and have had no issues with this product but sensitivity is an individual issue.
