Had this for about 2 months now and works fine. What I don’t like about the product is that it uses distilled water in order to heat the bottle, which I think is rather annoying to have to buy something else to use with this when tap water is free. I don’t use distilled water because I have an osmosis water filtration system for drinking I figure that should be enough as it further clean my water from all the hard chemicals etc. Coming from the tap, and if that’s still not good enough I have a big container of boiled water that I use for mixing milk with this product. The other thing I dislike is the water reservoir container as you have to flip the entire system upside down in order to put the container in? Really dumb idea because you cannot refill the container ... MoreHad this for about 2 months now and works fine. Really dumb idea because you cannot refill the container as the water reduces as you’ll empty what’s already in the bottle holder which will spill so quickly once it’s tilted. I stopped filling the container and just started pouring water directly in the bottle holder. Hopefully my product will still last long as I see no other better bottle warmer out there, which is why I still give it a high rating. Oh and cleaning the insides is a pain, you’ll need a bottle scrubber that’s spiky on top, not sponge because you’ll need to clean the dark heating pad that is a bit restricted by the plastic on top where the bottom of the bottle sits.

DISGUSTING & DEFECTIVE

I’ve been using this warmer over the years for my other children and recently had to repurchase for my new baby. This warmer was NEVER consistent to begin with and I don’t know what happened but this time around i’m actually really disgusted. Ive only had the warmer a month and half and it’s complete junk. There is actual mold growing inside the water capsule and it’s impossible to get in there and clean it. The inside of the warmer, the same. Moldy and slimy. The plastic bracket for the bottle inside also broke or melted somehow at the bottom so I have to use my hand to take out the bottle instead of lifting up the plastic piece. Which we all know gets super hot. I don’t know what happened but I would never purchase this again. Imperfect design

This bottle warmer does the job, but has some drawbacks that make it very annoying to use sometimes. First, it has preset volumes that you can choose to reheat, but they seem random. They presets are 2, 4, 5, and 8 ounces. Sort of strange. Also, the design of the reservoir is outrageously stupid. The opening on the refillable reservoir is tiny. It’s the width of a dropper tube, yet you’re supposed to fill it from a container of distilled water. Given the shape of the opening, it should come with a funnel for filling, but it doesn’t. Also, the exposed basin area that you have to quickly tip and click the reservoir into is small, so you have to move fast to avoid spilling. If there’s water in the reservoir and you move the unit on your counter while not keeping it ... MoreThis bottle warmer does the job, but has some drawbacks that make it very annoying to use sometimes. If there’s water in the reservoir and you move the unit on your counter while not keeping it exactly even, it will spill every time. The warming functionality in my experience works fine. It gets very hot so you can’t warm a breast milk storage bag or it will melt, but it warms a bottle nicely. You just have to wait a few minutes before taking it out because the steam will still be too hot right when the cycle finishes.

Long review, but an honest one

My husband and I finally decided to toss it today- after about 7.5 months of use. The machine has more cons than pros unfortunately. Let’s start with the reservoir for the distilled water, it has an opening that’s about the size of a large pill, which makes it challenging to fill. Then comes attaching it to the actual machine, the way that worked for us was to quickly aim the opening to the bottom and click it in before it leaks all over the counter. The first few times our counter was soaked. Now when you want to sterilize or warm up a bottle there’s a couple of basket like part’s inside that are questionable for their use. The first few times our counter was soaked. Now when you want to sterilize or warm up a bottle there’s a couple of basket like part’s inside that are questionable for their use. The actual basket that supposed whole the bottle and what you’re apparently supposed use to lift the bottle out once the cycle is done is also not convenient once the cycle ends- you’re really more likely get a steam burn on your fingers and possibly spill the liquid if you really can’t wait to let the bottle cool off another minute. In the instructions it does say the last minute is for letting the contents cool off- unless you’re out of water, it’s not cooled off. Oh, and don’t forget to put the steam lid on the bottle, otherwise distilled steamed water will drip into the bottle- not the end of the world, but no one really wants that. Onto the functions, which is probably the best part of the machine! It has icons for sterilization, and the different temperatures of the liquid (frozen, fridge, room temp) there’s also settings for the type of bottle (glass or plastic) and the amount of liquid in said bottle (2-8 Oz). Literally the easiest part, press a couple buttons a few times, find your setting, press start, it shows you the timer and beeps 4 times when it’s finished. Now onto the WORST part of the machine, the cleaning! In the instructions it gives you 3 options, daily clean, deep clean, and fast deep clean. Both of the deep cleans use vinegar, and when the instructions say “clean in a well ventilated area” they mean it! We deep cleaned it once with vinegar and put it in a fairly outside room- the machine and the room smelled like vinegar for about a week. Wiping down the parts isn’t too bad, just a solid hand scrub does the trick, but then when you try to clean the bottom of the machine, good luck! There’s a metal (I think?) heater covered by a vent looking thing- that is close to impossible to hand clean- the vinegar didn’t do much to help either. All this being said, it worked for us for a while, but I’m happy to be rid of it.

I received this product for free, from Dr. Brown’s, to rate and review & I really like it so far! I love how small and compact it is and how easy it is to use with just a touch of a button. However, I feel that the water reservoir in the back of the warmer is a major design flaw as it is a bit awkward to fill. Besides that, it has multiple features & settings that are simply designed & understandable. The unit heats up fast and warms both bottles and food quickly for your little one, but, unfortunately, it doesn’t always heat bottles & baby foods to the same temperature and can sometimes be inconsistent with that. This product would be 10X better if you weren’t required to use ONLY distilled water, but overall it’s a good product that I got to test out!!

I don’t often write reviews but I wish I had known more about this bottle warmer.Let’s start with the good things- it does it’s job, has lots of settings and a big compartment which makes it easy to sterilize bottles and other stuff quickly. But (and this is a huge one) it requires distilled water. I don’t know about you but after just getting home from the hospital with a newborn, getting special water was not on my list of things I wanted to do. So I decided to use fridge water instead and see if it really makes a difference- it does. The bottle warmer now (8 month later) is very inefficient. Zero stars from this first time mom

We received this bottle warmer as a baby shower gift. It worked fine the first 2 weeks. After that, I started to notice that it doesn't consistently heat up each time. Sometimes the milk is cold after the recommended time and sometimes its too hot for the baby. Now for the past month (baby is only 3.5 months), I have noticed milk at the bottle of the warmer after use. I recently started paying attention to the bottles (also Dr. Browns) and I am losing from a half ounce up to 2 ounces of milk. Dr. Brown's bottles already leak when in use, so this warmer just makes the situation worse. Throwing this away and getting a different brand warmer and bottle.

I never thought I would hate a bottle warmer but this one just makes life unnecessarily difficult. First it’s the water reservoir that has an opening of a spaghetti noodle. So trying to fill it with distilled water without spilling it every where is impossible without a funnel. Which it DOESNT come with one. The opening is so small good luck trying to find one that will fit. Then when you finally get it filled... you have to very quickly ( I mean VERY quickly) flip the water reservoir filled with water upside down to place it on the back of the warmer. After you get that done, you have to clean up all the water that you spilled because it’s next to impossible not to. Now they do make the reservoir small which is another annoying aspect about this warmer. You find out you need to fill the reservoir when you bottle stops in the middle of the cycle and the screen says h20 Err. But make sure you are standing around waiting for that error message because if you miss it. It shuts off as if it’s done and completed the cycle and it’s not till you turn it on again you will see the error message and realize the last cycle didn’t even finish warming the bottle. GET A DIFFERENT BOTTLE WARMER. SAFE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE.
