I really loved the portable packaging and designs of the liquid shots I found they were so easy to carry with you to work in your bag.I wasnt too sure how they were going to go as ive never tried this before I was quite hesitant.. however trying the shots the taste wasnt too bad it had a peach flavour which was strong the aftertaste was a bit harsh but nothing too bad as I drank these purely on their own no water or in sparkling water. Currently in the summer heat with lots of sun exposure I’ve been experiencing no dryness. My skin has been able to retain its moisture and natural glow. The fact that the product also contains Vitamin C is an added bonus. It provides a natural health boost so that I can reduce my intake of other vitamin supplements.In regard to skin quality, particularly on priority areas like the face, I think the quality has maintained a pretty consistent texture and feel without too much noticeable change. It would be interesting to see if this were to change over a longer period of time with persistent use. I was quite interested to try this product, it wasn’t something I’d heard of before, and as someone who hates taking pills, I don’t take as many vitamins as I probably should. So this was really exciting, the promise of all those goodies in a tasty drink? Yes please, sign me up.The shot has a pleasant peach flavour, a bit like iced tea, I was concerned that it would taste fishy as it still has a bit of that smell, but honestly I was pleasantly surprised. I was quite interested to try this product, it wasn’t something I’d heard of before, and as someone who hates taking pills, I don’t take as many vitamins as I probably should. So this was really exciting, the promise of all those goodies in a tasty drink? Yes please, sign me up.The shot has a pleasant peach flavour, a bit like iced tea, I was concerned that it would taste fishy as it still has a bit of that smell, but honestly I was pleasantly surprised. I guess the main downside to me was all the tiny little bottles for each day, I think in that respect a powder is more sustainable, but at least the bottles are recyclable.I normally have fairly fast growing hair and nails anyway, however, I will say I noticed a bit more brittleness in both since I had Covid, and I definitely feel like I’ve seen an improvement in them bouncing back to how they used to be since using this for the past month. I feel my skin has also shown an improvement, I would usually experience dry patches with all the wind and changing temperatures lately, but my skin hasn’t faltered. I’d be interested to see how this goes in the long run, I haven’t used collagen before and I know reviews on its effectiveness on skin are mixed.The main downside to me is the price. I was very fortunate to receive a month’s supply, but admittedly $60 for 10 days worth is a bit of a splurge for me for something that you need to continue taking. But I imagine like all things it is something that will come up on sale. I’ve already recommended it to my sister who is an avid user of collagen.
These collagen shots are a nice, quite sweet, peach flavour. I’ve tried a few other collagen supplements and these are definitely the best tasting ones I have tried so far. The shot is fine by itself and is also great added to water or sparkling water for a lightly flavoured drink. I enjoyed this versatility and also the routine of taking them. They were tasty enough that taking them wasn’t a chore and I enjoyed sitting down in the afternoon for a break and to enjoy the shot.The packaging is simple and cute, they store really easily in the cupboard and fridge. I do slightly worry about creating so much waste with a daily use product but the fact the glass is recyclable makes me feel slightly better.
