I’m someone who already uses actives in my skin care (Retinol, BHA, Niacinamide and Hyaluronic Acid) I was excited to see if this could be incorporated into my routine. The texture is gel/serum like and one pump is enough for my entire face and neck. All in all, although I didn’t notice improvement in pigmentation or fading of any dark spots; my skin does have a brighter complexion! However if you already have a pretty comprehensive routine that includes a surface exfoliant or vitamin C, you may not see a difference.

Dr. LeWinn’s Reversaderm Corrective Skin Peel contains AHAs of 15%. I have been using AHAs for about a decade but at around 8% and have never had an issue with sensitivity. I would definitely say my skin noticed the difference with a tingling/ cold sensation but no ongoing problems and my skin did look nice after. But I really didn’t notice any “extra” with higher percentage to my skin than with my regular routine. Maybe the there is only so much skin that can be exfoliated. Lol. The packaging is excellent. First things first, I loved the packaging, thought it looked really good. I wished there were more things I loved about the product, but unfortunately that’s it…the combined usage of the 2 products just didn’t work for me and I have not seen any significant improvement on my skin. Maybe it needs to be used for a few months before showing results, but not sure how many consumers would be that patient.
