These are my fav boots. Hands down. I’ve been wearing them for a couple years now and they’re still in great shape. I had to add in soles for extra comfort though because the bottoms aren’t super soft or anything. And it takes a lot of time breaking them in. BUT they are a staple piece in my wardrobe now and were well worth the investment. Since they don’t have half sizes, I had to size up which was a little roomy but I can tighten them up a bit. These definitely aren’t hiking shoes so I wouldn’t walk long distances in them (because every time I do I get callouses on my heels). The platform is to die for; it makes you extra tall. It’s a little heavy but it doesn’t bother me. Overall I don’t regret buying these; I’m still getting a ton of use out of them. If you’re ... MoreThese are my fav boots. Hands down. These were my first pair of Docs so I actually went into the Dr Martens store in SoHo to try on almost every single pair they had bc all the reviews on sizing seem to vary by shoe style. I’m a true 6.5 but with bad feet (bunions) so I prefer my shoes to be a bit wider and run a bit larger vs being snug. I was looking for a soft leather, high lace up boot with a platform. I tried on the Audrick platforms and the regular 1490s in a size 6 which felt very comfortable for my feet. I initially tried the Jardon Pisa in a size 6 but could feel my right big toe almost grazing the front of the shoe. Since I was wearing very thin socks, I knew the boots would be too snug come winter time when I’ll want to wear tights and thicker socks. The size 7 were a tad too big but the ... The size 7 were a tad too big but the sales associate stuck in some doc insoles for me and they felt much better! I would say these boots do run true to size but a little wide, so if you are a true half size and do not want your shoes to be snug, then size up. I’m so confused by the reviews where people are sizing down one whole size - that definitely would not have worked for me, so I’m glad I went into the store to try these on. As for style and feel? OMG these feel like walking on clouds…everyone always talks about how docs are brutal to break in, but these feel amazing. I had always wanted docs in the 90s (I was in middle school and HS) but couldn’t afford them back in the day. I’m ecstatic that I can feed my inner 90s child via these boots! The pictures do not do them justice. They are legitimately beautiful and I do not regret paying full price for them! I live in NYC and know I’ll get a ton of wear from them.

These are amazing legendary boots. My first martins! I chose between model 1460 and 1490 for a long time. The difference is only in the number of eyes. Well, I thought so. It turned out that when choosing the size, the difference is also noticeable! Almost all Dr. Martens run big, so it's best to take a half size - a size smaller than usual. I should have thought about it. My size is 38.5 and I decided to order 39. It was a big mistake! They are too big for me! I put two insoles in each, put on another sock and still they remain large. I didn't realize it right away, so I won't be able to return it. I wear them as they are. But they don't rub! Important: model 1460 is oversized, but 1490 is oversized even more! Be careful. It's better to wear them at home a little to be sure they fit you. And resize if necessary. Otherwise, the boots are excellent: very beautiful, made of good leather, they look amazing.

I’ve been wanting a pair of Dr Martens for yeaaaaars! I’m talking 15 years! Finally bought these and oh my, they’re everything I’ve always wanted and more 🥰 The sizing was a little stressful as there were so many conflicting reviews on sizing. Think it literally just depends on your feet. I’m usually size 4-5 depending on brand/style, was confident I’d be a size 4 in these but I went in store and tried on the size 4 and they were too small, couldn’t even get my foot in (my wide feet may play a contribution in that). Size 5 fit like a glove and felt so much better. After wearing them around the house I found my heel was coming up a tiny tiny bit when walking but after tightening the laces this isn’t an issue now. I will probably invest in insoles in the future for when I don’t want to double up on socks. Would be nice if there was an option for half sizes in these boots but there’s solutions with insoles, extra socks etc. Definitely happy I got these for my first pair, I love the look and the chunky platform, feel like these go with just about everything. Can’t wait to start venturing outside in these 🥰
They look extremely beautiful and well-built. I loved how perfect the size of the boots was. The leather is of excellent quality. They can be styled of any kind and I am happy to say that they are a must-have in every fashion-conscious person's closet. I highly recommend investing in a good pair of Dr Martens Boots, as they are a reliable and stylish choice for any occasion. While they may have a higher price tag than some other types of boots, their durability and timeless style make them worth the investment. With proper care, a pair of Dr Martens boots can last for years, making them a great value in the long run. Whether you're a fan of classic leather boots or trendy statement pieces, there's a pair of Dr Martens Boots out there for you. Looking forward to ... This must have been one of my fav shoes that goes with everything. I recently got a new pair .I have to say that quality went downhill. Especially considering the increase of price you will expect at least quality stay the same . Again I have owned many dr Martines in my life they never broke up into this mess . One one shoe is less visible than other one . So once the shoe started softened up it’s started creating leather creasing which it’s normal. What it’s not normal is the way it does it , instead of normal leather creasing it looks more like a wet cardboard box creases that it’s wild . It makes me question how and what they layered the leather underneath, maybe to save cash instead to be full on leather they half it with something else that when the shoe ... Not good .
Awesome boots, the sole is chunky and stirdy but flexible enough where its not restrictive, its wear resistant and doesnt wear out as quick.Leather was stiff and plastiky like but with proper care I reccomend you invest into a leather conditioner and conition these boots inside and out.It will help to keep the leather supple and help with break in period. Make sure to wear double socks too and tie them tight. Speaking of tighing them up, the laces are awful quality they started to wear out and split within 2 wears so make sure you purchase better quality laces to replace these. I purchased the Jadon Pisa Platform and the Jadon boot (both at size 6) and the comfort difference is totally different. I'm a pretty consistent 6.5 even in boots. The lift for both boots is nice. I'm 5'0 and having any height is wonderful. These didn't look too weird either. Sometimes when I wear platform shoes, it's comical (think circus performer on stilts). The Jadon Pisa leather is softer, the foot bed is more comfortable and the weight is lighter. The leather scuffs easily and is more matte compared to the Jadon boot. I purchased a size 6 and it fits nicely. With med weight socks (so like a pair of stance socks), it's perfect. Big enough to accommodate thicker socks, but not so big that thinner socks wouldn't work either. The Jadon boot is very rigid, the foot bed is ok and the weight is much heavier. The leather does not scuff and is more shiny/polished compared to the Jadon Pisa. I purchased a size 6 and it was roomier than the Jadon Pisa. I needed to wear way thicker socks to be able to really feel secure in the boot. It was enough room that I kept wondering if I should have sized down even further. Odd since the Jadon Pisa size 6 was so perfect.I wore both at home to decide which ones to keep. At first, I was going to keep the Jadon boot because at $170, I just didn't want my boots to be scuffed and look worn down too quickly. I wanted to keep them looking polished.I decided to wear the Jadon boots outside and it was an eye opener. I found myself dragging my feet because they were so heavy. The boot was so inflexible and the part where the tongue meets the body of the boot jabbed and rubbed at my ankles so much that I was sore the next day.In the end, I switched to the softer, but easily scuffed Jadon Pisa Platform. I could see myself avoiding wearing the bricks and if I'm going to spend this much, I want to be able to happily wear these all the time.
This model has no insole inside. The Jadons arrived. On the foot they look amazing, super stylish, I was thinking about the thousand outfits I would wear! But unfortunately the size guide is not very accurate. They run SMALL!After reading lots of reviews about the sizing of the shoes & the break in process, I decided to go for my true size (on the site even says size down), which is usually 38, all my shoes are 38 (sneakers, high heels, boots, uggs). They are super tight and uncomfortable on the toes, after trying them on around the house for a week and seeing no improvement in toes pain, I decided to return them and get a bigger size (which I'm not sure won't be too big for me).I would suggest you include also a sizing guide in cm.And considering I have to pay back for the return, because of ...
