Jargon platform dr marten . These are collaboration with Warner bro. Blade runner. So soft and comfortable to other styles. Stand out with the red rather than usual yellow stitching. Jargon thicker soles are made with the same quality and comfort as the rest of the brand. Love the extra height as I'm only 5"2. Zips make putting them on and taking them off easy too. The cute little blade runner boot charm is a great touch, teamed with the quotes on the rear spine made sure these boots are in my top 5 of my collection, and definitely turned heads and gained lots of well deserved attention.

Classic with a Twist. Cool but heavy + blisters

Classic Docs with a twist, platform. I am a size 9.5 AUS or 40.5 EURO. Unfortunately these dont come in half size, so I had to buy the 41, which are slightly too big but not huge, not too noticable. These boots are heavy. After a couple days of wear only, I started getting blisters on the back of my ankles. Hopefully this is only temporary while wearing them in. Heaviness of boots is a bit annoying, I've had docs before but i guess the platform adds extra weight to these.Wish these were Made in England! Quality seems pretty good so far though.

I am in love with
15 April 2024

I am in love with these boots, I've had a pair of 101 6 eyelet boots for over 5 years and they are the comfiest things. I knew going in that these new ones would take a bit to break in, however they have been a lot comfier to break in than my 101's.The sole isn't nearly as heavy as I thought it would be, I find these easy to walk in considering how much of a platform there is.The toe and heel are pretty solid to begin with, I am only a few weeks in to breaking these in so I am not sure how much that'll change over time! The only problem I have found is that the shoes feel like a good size when I'm sitting and standing, but when I walk my feet get pushed forward slightly and my toes end up touching the tip of the boot. I found that putting in a cushioned sole really helps with reducing that.I ordered a 6.5, and my 101's were a 7. However, I always felt like the 101's were too big so that's why I went with the 6.5s.Hopefully the tip of the boot will soften over time!

Love this boot but always wish there were half sizes
11 November 2023

Having had the classic 1460 boots in college, I LOVE this updated silhouette. I've always had an issue with Docs being huge around my ankle, so having one that fits tightly and gives a sleeker look is so great! And I absolutely love the platform. Not so high that it's a trip risk, and I can tromp around everywhere in it. Driving comfortably took a week but it's no problem now.I really wish there were half sizes because it does seem to me to run about a half size too big. If you're a true half size, these will probably fit you well, but they're roomy on me. I tried a size down and it was definitely too small, so this roomy size is the correct one. I just use insoles and thicker socks. The heels do rub a bit so far but nothing that has truly given me blisters; we'll ... MoreHaving had the classic 1460 boots in college, I LOVE this updated silhouette. My first pair ever!
26 December 2023

So as this was my first experience buying name brand Dr Martens, I didn’t really know what to expect. I meticulously measured my feet and followed the brand’s size recommendations. According to their size chart I was a true 7. Ummm, no. I received the 7 and couldn’t believe how tight they were. Like, something felt wrong about it but I read all this literature about how they are so wildly uncomfortable when they are brand new. Even their own page said to wear them in short intervals and all this and that about breaking them in. I couldn’t take it for even a few minutes. I went back online and ordered the next size up.Honestly, the 8s are a little big and a real 7.5 would have probably been perfect but they don’t make half sizes. But I am keeping the 8’s. All around they are just about 1000% more comfortable than what I had with the 7’s.So if you’re looking for an opinion on it, I’d say size up if you’re normally a half size.Other than that, I love the aesthetic of the big sole. They are chunky boots for sure but that is a hot look! Love them and I’m glad I saw the buying process all the way through. Now hopefully dr marten gives me my money back on the 7’s I sent them back.

Quality went downhill.
26 December 2022

This must have been one of my fav shoes that goes with everything. I recently got a new pair .I have to say that quality went downhill. Especially considering the increase of price you will expect at least quality stay the same . Again I have owned many dr Martines in my life they never broke up into this mess . One one shoe is less visible than other one . So once the shoe started softened up it’s started creating leather creasing which it’s normal. What it’s not normal is the way it does it , instead of normal leather creasing it looks more like a wet cardboard box creases that it’s wild . It makes me question how and what they layered the leather underneath, maybe to save cash instead to be full on leather they half it with something else that when the shoe ... MoreThis must have been one of my fav shoes that goes with everything. Not good .

Surprisingly Comfortable
21 March 2023

I purchased the Jadon Pisa Platform and the Jadon boot (both at size 6) and the comfort difference is totally different. I'm a pretty consistent 6.5 even in boots. The lift for both boots is nice. I'm 5'0 and having any height is wonderful. These didn't look too weird either. Sometimes when I wear platform shoes, it's comical (think circus performer on stilts). The Jadon Pisa leather is softer, the foot bed is more comfortable and the weight is lighter. The leather scuffs easily and is more matte compared to the Jadon boot. I purchased a size 6 and it fits nicely. With med weight socks (so like a pair of stance socks), it's perfect. Big enough to accommodate thicker socks, but not so big that thinner socks wouldn't work either. The Jadon boot is very rigid, the ... MoreI purchased the Jadon Pisa Platform and the Jadon boot (both at size 6) and the comfort difference is totally different. Big enough to accommodate thicker socks, but not so big that thinner socks wouldn't work either. The Jadon boot is very rigid, the foot bed is ok and the weight is much heavier. The leather does not scuff and is more shiny/polished compared to the Jadon Pisa. I purchased a size 6 and it was roomier than the Jadon Pisa. I needed to wear way thicker socks to be able to really feel secure in the boot. It was enough room that I kept wondering if I should have sized down even further. Odd since the Jadon Pisa size 6 was so perfect.I wore both at home to decide which ones to keep. At first, I was going to keep the Jadon boot because at $170, I just didn't want my boots to be scuffed and look worn down too quickly. I wanted to keep them looking polished.I decided to wear the Jadon boots outside and it was an eye opener. I found myself dragging my feet because they were so heavy. The boot was so inflexible and the part where the tongue meets the body of the boot jabbed and rubbed at my ankles so much that I was sore the next day.In the end, I switched to the softer, but easily scuffed Jadon Pisa Platform. I could see myself avoiding wearing the bricks and if I'm going to spend this much, I want to be able to happily wear these all the time.

Well made comfy leather boot but runs large
29 February 2024

I'm a true 6.5 so I purchased the 7W/5M. It's pretty loose when worn around footbed (more wide) but not unbearable if worn with high boot socks and tied all the way to the top. It's a well structured boot, clunky heel, and the leather is nice and soft. I have walked in these for several hours and fortunately no blisters. I didn't get a chance to try a 6 but I know in normal boots 6 will not fit me and is tight around the toes. I gave it one less star because my pair shipped with a very strong stinky scent, almost like orange cleaning solution. It looked like it was a return but was probably not worn outside. Not a deal breaker since I kept it but probably worth going into the store to try before you purchase online.

love the pisa jadons, but inconsistent sizing and quality
14 March 2024

Always wanted a pair, but this style is extremely inconsistent in its sizing and finish quality. Usually get 5 in docks, but the 5 in these was Huge in terms of excess leather over the instep and when trying to lace tight, got the waves going here that just looked terrible. I do not want to put extra insoles that will make my heels go up, or wear double, or thick socks forever, never have. The size 4 - first pair, okisch, but one zip slipping and loose threads hanging. Next pair of 4's, so tight, completely crushing my big toe sideways .... as if made for different style. Did try another pair of 4's in store, but that was to short for my foot.
