Bought these about 10 days ago and I absolutely love them. Theyāre the first DMs Iāve owned. These have a grained leather which I find much more forgiving to scuffs and scratches, plus itās slightly softer. Everyone says that breaking in DMs is hard work, but Iāve actually found this fine by wearing for a max of 3 hours at a time so far. The boots are also great because they can be dressed up or down, and look fab with both skirts and trousers. Best purchase of the year and totally worth the price, you can tell how high quality the materials and craftsmanship is.

The best description of the āleatherā I could come up with was that it seemed like $50 high school girl wrinkly leather boots. The wrinkle pattern was uniform across the entire boot, and the leather felt weak and cheap. Had 2 sizing issues prior to this buy (after reading online that Doc Martens claims nothing has changed) these ones finally fit, instantly returned them and I bought Solovairs. Iām hoping you guys burn down the brand in your infinite greed and capitalistic vanity. Did I mention the prices of EVERY boot has increased by, oh I canāt remember, is it $20? $40? Loving these boots. Wanted a pair that werenāt as chunky so went for these. Just the look I wanted but slightly narrower than Iād thought so theyāre tight. Iām sure with more wear that will change. They look awesome with whatever I wear and Iām sure they will last a very long time.

These were for my husband. He loves the slightly softer, textured leather and that the laces hole rivets(?) are a little different to normal. They are comfy as are all the Docs we both know and love.He had hoped to buy a pair of the lighter grey textured leather and was disappointed when he found out they were a narrower, womenās boot. Would you consider creating a menās version of these in the future?
Absolutely love these!!! My first pair of Dr Martens. The leather is so soft and they literally go with anything. Iām a UK size 8 with a wide foot, I ordered an 8 and they fit perfect. Iāve read up on the ābreaking inā advice and definitely worth a read. Iāve started wearing the them for short spells and pairing them with Dr Marten socks, also used some compeer blister plasters which helpedā¦no blisters on my first outing in them š highly recommend my only worry is I want moreā¦.maybe some sandals next time.
I love all of my doc martens, my husband does as well. We have many pairs however this pair had a defect and I would normally overlook a small defect but the boots I ordered myself a few months ago were also slightly defective as well. Iām going to include pictures of both pairs of boots. The boots that have the defect on the tongue of shoe are the same style that I ordered for myself in October 2022
My second pair of 1460s. I had to break in my first pair of originals which was fine but this time, I wanted to wear straight from the box. I wasnāt disappointed! Gorgeously soft leather, a bit of extra height from the bex sole and Iām out and about without any pain! Totally worth the extra pennies! Iām a size 4 and they are a perfect fit with room for Doc Marten thick socks. Happy bunny!
I ordered several styles to try out and this one was the winner. The leather is soft and the shoes are super hearty in (California) cold weather. Love them. I ordered an 8 and was nervous because I have wide feet, but they run wide! Which is perfect for me! They were instantly comfortable and are getting more and more comfortable every day.
My previous dr.martens boots was supersoft and comfy without any defects. It was produced in Indonesia.New ordered boots was produced in Bangladesh and have crooked stitching and soles trimming and shoes material colors socks. Unfortunately I can not accept this quality and Iām very upset. Itās not so comfy as previous one as well.I sincerely wish this brand to return the quality to the previous level.
I guess I'm just in between sizes.. but it's like from 7 to 8, same boot selection, but when arrived, appears to be two different types of boots. The 7s were much softer, the laces were thinner.. better with like a wax coating. 8s are stiffer for sure, shinier, and have more of a workmen's boot lace. no wax so it comes undone easily. I kept the 8s, but overall, just a disappointing experience.
