If I could give 0 stars I would! These sandals are extremely heavy and the worst is they leave you in pain for days after wearing them. I have Dr.Martin boots that I can wear for a whole day which are a dream & like wearing slippers they are so comfortable. My favourites!! These sandals however are my worst nightmare! These are my second pair of gryphon quads. They are a little heavy with some thickness but it doesn’t take long to get used to them. They are incredibly comfortable easy to walk in and fashionable. They add extra height too. The quality is second to none. I won’t need another pair of sandals. These sandals pair well with so many items Jeans, dresses, for casual or a little smarter and edgy. Personally I will never buy another pair of sandals again. For me these are verging on perfection. I think of all of the sandals I have bought in the past that cost £30-50. They usually aren’t high quality and haven’t lasted. I believe these doc martens sandals are worth their money They have durability and will last for years to come.

First time buying dr martens sandals - best decision ever! I bought these based on other reviews for wider feet, and was not disappointed. They fit perfectly, minimal rubbing and look amazing too. I have been able to wear them for long periods from word go.Some reviews commented about them being quite heavy, and while they are heavier than most sandals I’ve tried in the past, I haven’t found them hard to walk in, or uncomfortable. They just feel super good quality.Love my new doc sandals, I reckon they will last me for years to come!! :) worth every penny!!

I am so happy with these sandals!I was really worried they would blister my feet because I have 3 different pairs of DM boots which all blistered my feet so much (when first wearing them in) but these sandals on the other hand are like wearing slippers!I am a size 7 and I have wide feet and they are not small at all , plus the soft leather means they are not too tight round my fat feet! 🤣 because they have two adjustable straps you can set the straps to fit your feet perfectly! I am honestly so happy with these shoes and have not stopped wearing them! ❤️
Delighted with this purchase. I read reviews for quite some time to help decide which pair of DM sandals to buy. Yes, they are heavy but you don't notice when on and perfect for wearing when exploring cities when flip flops or thin sandals won't cut it. Very supportive shoes. I have narrow feet and a small five (sometimes 4.5) and found the size 5 is perfect. I wore around the house a few times for about a week and have worn out on holiday for 4-5 hours at a time and no issue breaking in/blisters. So, all in, I have been very impressed at my latest pair of DMs.
I loved my Voss 2, but they broke so I needed a replacement. I got the Blaire sandals and they didn’t fit my feet anywhere, so I ordered the Pisa’s instead. These shoes have much softer leather that will break in much easier. I’m a 7 Wide in Woman’s and I can definitely say I wish there were half sizes. An 8 would have been too big, but a 7 does mean my pinky toe is a little smooshed. If you don’t have wide feet, a size smaller would be fine.
Purchased size 4 my regular size and are true to size.They look amazing, so stylish and look lovely with everything.Leather is soft buckles with need wearing in.The sandals are quite heavy. I wore mine to travel abroad in as would be too heavy for suitcase.Rubbed my heels on 2nd wear, not too bad but I'm still taking the precaution of plastering up for a while yet till they wear in which I have no doubt they eill do! Overall very pleased. Good value for money as they will last a lifetime! Purchased for the full price but had a discount code of 20% off so a bargain for just over £100!
I recently ordered 3 pairs of sandals to try (blaire, gryphon quad and gryphon brando). It was a hard decision between the brando and the gryphon quad but I'm a sucker for the iconic yellow stitching so I went with these. I havent worn them out yet so I cant comment on how comfortable they will be but I love the sturdy well made feeling. The Brando were also lovely and really soft leather but I liked the fact that these looked a bit more rocky, the reason I like Dr Martens in the first place :). I look forward to wearing them. I chose my normal size and these were perfect.
Love docs, love wearing these and hope they last a long time.Yes, there’s a bit of soreness around ankle straps and toe straps where the leather is initially sharp and rubs, but I find a bit of Vaseline on these areas of your foot helps with this!The soles themselves are really comfy to walk in, I don’t find there’s an issue with heaviness of the shoe. If you’re used to wearing docs then it won’t be an issue for you.Negatives:The shoes were a bit wonky? One of them, the sole isn’t flat - it’s a bit twisted - and you can feel it when you’re wearing it and see it if you hold the shoe up. On the other, the silhouette of the sole isn’t the same as you look down on both of the shoes together, the side of the sole bulges out. I have kept them, as they still overall ... I sized up in these to allow more strap adjustment. I’m usually a size 3 but the straps were too small even in the maximum size, I don’t have particularly chubby or wide feet which i found very odd. Maybe they will loosen up over time?The size 4 was a much better fit.They’re very comfortable, a fairly heavy weight but I like that! Very good quality and they look gorgeous on.
