I really liked the Dr. Scholl's Pain Relief Orthotics for Heavy Duty Support. I am a medic and am often on my feet for twelve hours a day wearing boots. Finding comfortable boots isn't just a luxury but it's essential for my work. When I received my Orthotics, I was at first shocked by how large they were but they have cut outs for standard shoe sizing. I double checked that my Orthotics would fit into my boots prior to cutting them and noticed that the sizing was slightly off which made the cutting more difficult which is why I took one star away from the review. Besides that I've used the Orthotics for a number of days now and they are pretty comfortable overall. After becoming used to the Orthotics being in the boot, they are very comfortable and definitely reduced the foot and leg pain I used to get towards the end of my shifts. This is the first time I have ever gotten Orthotics for my feet and I would recommend them to other people that are on their feet all day and move around a lot.

his is my 2nd time buying in soles. As comfortable running shoes are, they're just not durable. So I usually buy something like some high top casual shoes to work both my jobs in, something like Vans. Those shoes, usually are flat inside and murder my lower back. I threw these in, and they felt kinda weird but promising at first. After about 2-3 days, they broke in and now feel like they came with the shoe. That's not saying they feel like the unsupported garage that comes in the shoes, I'm saying they feel like a proper part of the shoe, yet provide support for my 240lb frame while I spend a minimum of 12hrs a day on my feet. They're not running shoe comfort, but they're a nice middle ground between walking on flat cardboard, and the pillowy cloud of gym shoes. I ... Morehis is my 2nd time buying in soles. I am close to 200 lbs. because I work out and run. I found that no matter which sneakers I wore when I ran, my foot was still very uncomfortable and I felt each step I took. After using the Dr. Scholl's & Pain Relief Orthotics for Heavy Duty Support, my feet and legs feel like superheroes, and my lower pain back is now gone. The arch guard definitely helps by reducing impact when walking or running. The best part of this orthotic is that is made to fit all kinds of shoes, from casual to work boots/shoes.Overall, Dr. Scholl's & Pain Relief Orthotics for Heavy Duty Support is something I personally and highly recommend if you are suffering from lower back pain from standing on your feet for hours at a time. I'm a night shift hazmat truck driver with many stops each shift so I'm constantly getting in and out of the truck and on my feet at each stop for 30+ minutes. Needless to say, I have a lot of lower back, knee and foot pain, so I opted to get these heavy duty ones instead of their other ones. After wearing these for about a month, the pain is still there, which I expected, but it is much more tolerable and I noticed I'm not having to take breaks as often.I'm a size 12 shoe and these were a bit large, but they had markings on where to trim the excess off. I did feel that the markings aren't 100% accurate so I trimmed less than the marking I needed. One fit perfect, the other needed more taken off so I would strongly suggest to trim less than what you need, see if ... One fit perfect, the other needed more taken off so I would strongly suggest to trim less than what you need, see if it fits in your shoe and then trim off more if needed. For comfort, it was a bit odd and slightly uncomfortable at first but after about 10-15 min of walking they felt fine. You can definitely feel the support in the heel and on the inner part of your foot and they dont seem to be wearing down so far. After wearing them for a month they are very comfortable and I can see them lasting 6+ months at this rate.Overall I'm very satisfied with this product and once these wear out, I'll 100% be buying another pair to replace them.
So I got these Dr. Scholls insoles for my husband, who is a smaller build build than suggested size. A couple years ago he fell off of his semi trailer and spiral fractured his tibia and fibula, he also fractured in mallelor, all in the lower leg, after screws and plates and then the removal of them from complications of a titanium allergy. He is for the most part all healed up with the exception of a very nasty scar and terrible knots at the bottom of his foot. If he ever has discomfort it's in his foot, he has complained of tired aching sore feet for what seems like a very long time now. So he was excited to try these, he is an insole man as he does a lot of manual labor and typically is on his feet a lot of time during the day. I asked him about them day 1 and he ... So he was excited to try these, he is an insole man as he does a lot of manual labor and typically is on his feet a lot of time during the day. I asked him about them day 1 and he said they seem good and that he probably wouldn't wear them with warm weather boots. By the end of the week he told me his feet don't feel tired anymore and that he will always be sure to wear those.
LESS SUPPORT THAN IT USED TO BE. I used to use these and got them recently because there was a deal but upon first feeling the heel support it was obvious that there's less cushioning, and yet they still list it as the Mens 200+lbs Heavy Duty. I'm debating to even try them since I'd have to trim to fit, I may just return them. Not only are they going for the lowest quality but price has increased, I doubt I'll be buying them ever again. IMO we can erase the name Dr. Scholls as any kind of quality brand from our minds, like so many companies they are just riding on an old image when the actual quality of the products keeps going down probably with little regard to supporting peoples health and well being.
I've had bad feet (and back) for years and have been suffering a lot lately. I finally decided that something had to be done. After doing a bit of research, I learned that people with flat feet need to consider an insole with arch support. From my own experience, I've also learned that cotton socks and insoles with a rough surface are a problem in the making. With these things in mind, I thought that Dr. Scholl's Heavy Duty Support insoles might be what I was looking for.Upon receiving them, I looked them over and was impressed by the quality. I especially liked the smooth (low friction) top surface. The inserts installed without cutting in my size 13 shoes with no slippage whatsoever. In walking around I felt immediate relief. I especially liked the smooth (low friction) top surface. The inserts installed without cutting in my size 13 shoes with no slippage whatsoever. In walking around I felt immediate relief. I was initially concerned that the arch support might be uncomfortable, but that was not the case. FWIW, I took care of a squeaking problem by removing the inserts and sprinkling baby powder in the shoes and on the underside of the inserts. This has proven to be one of my better purchases and I'm now a Dr. Scholl's fan. Do yourself a favor and try them out.
Soft and supportive. It is like walking on a memory foam mattress. There are multiple zones of support within this insert. First you notice every step feels softer, then you notice that your hard stepping heel has a cushier landing and then you realize that you arch has support and the pressure from each step is distributed over a larger area.Your legs notice a difference instantly. If you spend long periods on your feet, consider this like a portable anti-fatigue mat.Absolutely fabulous and easily customized to fit your shoe with a guide for various shoe sizes marked on the bottom of the insert. I've tried them in slippers and dress shoes without issue.Note: I'm 6'0" 235 lbs.
With all of the Memory Foam Insoles invading all shoes and boots due to its manufacturer price structures, it's easy to lose perspective on the extreme needs for valid, scientific and evidence based Arch Support. Dr. Scholls is available for practically every foot configuration and weight to get us back to feet wellness and keep us there. Simply procure and insert into every shoe and boot for best practices and best foot wellness outcomes. I bought two pairs last night and must go to another Walmart location for three more. To walk well is the principle goal.
I have been wanting a new orthotic for my steel toe boots at work, and this one is PERFECT for them! I work at a job where I have to be in a factory some of the time, and it means being on my feet for long periods of time. My feet and back get sore and achy, but after putting in these orthotics, I haven't had as much of an issue. I have noticed a big difference in how I feel after being on my feet all day! This product is designed for men on the heavier side, but I think anyone can use them.
