I have bad knees from several falls when I was younger. I had custom insoles for years but they are super expensive. Decided to try these Extra Support Pain Relief insoles. Have only been using a few weeks - so far so good. If they work as advertised I will give these a 5 star. Right now I don't have enough time with them to know how much improvement I can see.

First off about me…I have medium/high arches and under-pronate (supination). I need an orthotic with a deep heel cup and medium arch support. I’m also 5’6” and 156lbs. I wanted the knee pain ones but this is the closest they had in the store. It may have felt better if I were heavier but I don’t think so.These cause me to supinate (walking on the outside of foot) more than the ones that came in my shoes. There’s very little padding in the ball of foot and toe area. This made me feel like I was wearing a low heel dress shoe. Again that might not feel that way for people that are heavier but I don’t see how that could make that much difference with almost no padding on front. They seemed to fit in my shoe okay, maybe a little wide at the arch but not too bad. They cut down easily with sharp scissors like the rest of them.Overall these won’t work for me. Thankfully Dr. Scholls had a money back guarantee and seem to be made well. That’s the reason for the 3 stars vs 1.These may work for some people, just not me. Now to try again. This is the 8th pair of insoles/orthotics I’ve tried.

Have bought other Dr. Scholl's products in the past and they have not lasted long. I went online to find other insoles and I found this insole and after reading the info I went to my local Walmart store which is 5 minutes from my apartment. Went to the pharmacy area and found the Dr. Scholl's section. When I couldn't find this insole I asked for some help and I was told I could order these online. A few days later I was shopping and when I stopped for lunch I mention the Walmart story to my server she replied "why not go across the street to the Walmart Grocery Store." I didn't know there was a Walmart grocery store. Finished lunch went across the street and was extremely happy to find these insoles. I was skeptical to try these because I was medically advised to use hard insoles because I have flat feet and overpronation. Even though these are more flexible, they support where I need them and made a positive difference with my knee and sciatic nerve pain. I only gave them four stars because they are not as supportive for my condition as the more expensive Powerstep Pinnacle Maxx inserts but are a good support for the price. You definitely get more for what you pay for.
After trying sevreal diffrent pairs of Dr. Scholls insoles that were avalible at my local Walmart. I came to the concluaion that these are the best they carry for the money. Although I cant say that they offer pain relief. They are kinda comfortable. Claims for men over 200lbs. Think they ment up to 200lbs. Because they are pretty thin in the toe region. Most insoles are. It would be better if they made a pair deaigned for men up to or over 300lbs. The biggest con is duribility. They just dont last. At this price what do you exspect. These are best for people on their feet for long times througout the day and for walking.
I thought they would be a bit too big for my work shoes, but they slid in perfectly. I work at Mcdonald's, so I'm often on my feet, nearly 9-11 hours straight with few sit-down breaks. My feet are always killing me by the time I get home from standing so much, so I bought these at the recommendation of another coworker. They help a little, but the insoles kill my arch. My feet stay clean, dry, and moisturized, and I have no fungus or issues with them - yet, after a while of standing with the inserts, the arch of my foot becomes horrendously sore and itchy, and the scratch is unbearable. It only goes away when I take the work shoes off and rest my feet, which you can imagine how it does not fare well on a long work shift where I have to be on my feet almost all the ... MoreI thought they would be a bit too big for my work shoes, but they slid in perfectly. Only got two stars because it's better than having nothing in the shoes.
LESS SUPPORT THAN IT USED TO BE. I used to use these and got them recently because there was a deal but upon first feeling the heel support it was obvious that there's less cushioning, and yet they still list it as the Mens 200+lbs Heavy Duty. I'm debating to even try them since I'd have to trim to fit, I may just return them. Not only are they going for the lowest quality but price has increased, I doubt I'll be buying them ever again. IMO we can erase the name Dr. Scholls as any kind of quality brand from our minds, like so many companies they are just riding on an old image when the actual quality of the products keeps going down probably with little regard to supporting peoples health and well being.
I've had bad feet (and back) for years and have been suffering a lot lately. I finally decided that something had to be done. After doing a bit of research, I learned that people with flat feet need to consider an insole with arch support. From my own experience, I've also learned that cotton socks and insoles with a rough surface are a problem in the making. With these things in mind, I thought that Dr. Scholl's Heavy Duty Support insoles might be what I was looking for.Upon receiving them, I looked them over and was impressed by the quality. I especially liked the smooth (low friction) top surface. The inserts installed without cutting in my size 13 shoes with no slippage whatsoever. In walking around I felt immediate relief. I especially liked the smooth (low friction) top surface. The inserts installed without cutting in my size 13 shoes with no slippage whatsoever. In walking around I felt immediate relief. I was initially concerned that the arch support might be uncomfortable, but that was not the case. FWIW, I took care of a squeaking problem by removing the inserts and sprinkling baby powder in the shoes and on the underside of the inserts. This has proven to be one of my better purchases and I'm now a Dr. Scholl's fan. Do yourself a favor and try them out.
I was debating on getting insoles because I never really believed that it "works". I used to work in an office, then started working a job where I'm constantly walking. First week, my foot, back, and knees were throbbing. I wouldn't be able to go 3 hours without hurting and can barely make it through my shift. And that's just not right since I'm only in my mid 20's. Well I said the h with this, it don't hurt to try. This has got to be the best purchase I've made. Other than soreness from standing all day, my feet, knees and back does not severely ache anymore.I hope this review helps those who are debating. ❤️
A new podiatrist destroyed my feet and I can no longer wear the orthotics that I wore for decades! These are the best OTC ones I have found. I have been living with terrible foot pain for several years. These haven’t cured it but they help more than any of the other OTC insoles I’ve tried. They have decent heel %26 arch support. They are MUCH better than the very expensive ones dr. Scholl’s sells too.
