This product worked to remove 2 corns on my heel in 2 treatments on a smaller one and 3 on a large one. I ended up using them all because the clear part came off after an hour the first time I used it. I started with the big one and then the smaller one after the large one was gone because that one hurt the worst. To get around the clear strip adhesive issue I just peeled it off the clear backing and let the padded/medicated part stay on the backing, like it wants to do anyway (if you use it you’ll see what I mean). I tossed the clear strip and put the medicated pad on the corn and used a long thin strip of KT tape (cut to the size of a bandage) to hold it in place, I’m sure any type of flexible water resistant medical tape would work. The other problem with the clear strip is the thickness and lack of stretch and flexibility. Since the corn was on my heel it was irritating and ended up folding onto itself. Before folding onto itself it dug into my skin. If they used something like a fabric bandage it would have worked better. I think it would have been irritating on a toe too since it kind of dug into my skin on the heel, it would probably do the same on a toe.All and all it worked, but since I had to use another product to keep the medicated pad in place I’m only giving it 3 stars. If they used a fabric type bandage I would have given it 5. They should also make it so the medicated disc part stays on the corn even if the rest comes off, like some other removers do, but it comes off with the pad and the clear adhesive strip. That means it won’t stay on for 48hrs without using another product that’s water resistant. The Equate brand is made so the medicated disk stays put even if the rest comes off so I’ll use that one when I need to do this again. I just can’t use the bandage part of the Equate brand due to an allergy to some adhesives. That one is cheaper so it’s no big deal using another type of bandage/tape.

This product is horribly designed. The tape is almost impossible to deal with on its own and add to that the medicated discs are separate from the tape. You have to put the disc on and the "sticky" side loses it's stickiness immediately and falls from where I placed it, Then I have to find the disc and put the poorly made tape over it, if the tape curls and sticks together you will need to use another one and there are only 6 in the box. All in all if you value your time, do NOT buy these It takes 15 minutes and at least two of the corn removers to finally get it right. So not only is it difficult to work with and time consuming, the fact that most of the time, I waste at least one other remover, so it makes the already overpriced product even more expensive. ... MoreThis product is horribly designed. Easy to use. Follow directions to make band-aid style tape waterproof around disc. You won't feel it. Only needed TWO treatments. You change it every two days. Skin turned white with one treatment. Once I removed the 2nd treatment I soaked my toe and the white/dry skin just feel right off. So 4 days later the corn was gone. Amazing! Wish I had done it sooner.
I have had a corn between my pinky toe, and the toe next to it for YEARS. It only seemed to occasionally hurt, but this last time I decided I need to get rid of it. These pads did the trick! I did not have any issues with the clear strip coming off like the other reviews. I did prep my skin by cleaning the area with a little bit of alcohol on a tissue to make sure it was dry and had the best chance of sticking. I do work in a warehouse and am on my feet most of the day, and had no slippage. I will say the cushion part on the clear strip was not cushiony enough for me, so I did end up placing a hydrocolloid bandage over the entire medicated pad/clear strip combo on the second application for that extra cushion. Worked like a charm! I pulled it off after the second ... MoreI have had a corn between my pinky toe, and the toe next to it for YEARS. I would not recommend. The initial instructions were unclear, but after applying it, the adhesive lasted for the recommended two days. I was using it as a preventative measure for small, developing soft corns. I put it on 4 of my toes. When I removed the product, it left a noticeable white cast. Although I followed the reviews' advice to leave it alone, the cast has since faded to match my skin tone, but it has left a clear imprint. I've attempted to file it down, but I'm concerned about further irritating my skin. Unfortunately, my feet are in worse condition than before, and I regret using this product.
I purchased these to treat corns on the bottom of my foot (ball of the foot area). I am pretty active and walk several miles a day in addition to my daily workout. The bandages that come with the treated pads are not robust enough to survive that much movement and a daily shower. They slide around and get stuck to your socks and eventually come off, taking the medicated pad with them. I tried another round of the pads with my own bandages overtop but had the same problem. I went through the pack quickly with little result. If you’re trying to treat the bottom of your foot, I’d suggest trying a different solution.
Product is not POOR, it is absolutely GARBAGE...Dr. School's use to have years ago an excellent corn remover - those dark blue packs.I was sure that it will work this one exactly as the previous one. I bought one despite the negative review (I thought that the customer who reviewed it maybe made a mistake about the application of those pads. That customer was totally RIGHT. Waste of Money!!! Strongly do not recommend this product. Does not work at all!!! Previously use to work. Now, absolutely ZERO.
I had been dealing with a buildup of thick skin on the top of one of my toes which made wearing shoes and walking painful. I had the opportunity to try the Dr. Scholl's Corn Remover pads through a manufactures promotion and happy to say, they work better than others. The Dr. Scholl's® Corn Removers with Duragel Technology worked amazingly well. With in a few days of use, the skin had softened to a point where I could actually peel it away easily. No pain, no discomfort and extremely easy to use.The corn removers contain a medication that is now available in this over the counter product. They are thin and move when bending your toes/feet. The pad was very comfortable to wear in a variety of shoes and I finally have found the relief I needed. I've tried store brands that did nothing but bunch up and cause more pain. I highly recommend this product if you are on your feet, walking a lot and even have some snug shoes. Dr. Scholl's® Corn Removers with Duragel Technology is a well known brand and an excellent product that works in days giving me the relief I needed to be active. I highly recommend this product to anyone who has callouse's, corns or a buildup of thick hard skin. It is true to it's claims!.
When I was younger, I never thought I would ever have corns but here I am at 42 with a corn on my little toe. What a a disappointment getting old or wearing shoes for too long. Anyway, these things are a double disappointment. I followed the instructions and applied the product following all the steps. It says keep on for 72 hours but that is impossible unless i guess you’re on bedrest, not even that, i applied one at night and by the next morning the whole thing was coming off. By the time i took a shower it was gone. It might stay on if you don’t change your socks for three days but that’s gross. That being said, after applying one a day for 12-24 a day it did help. At least they could do is give you more bandages than pads to replace once a day.
