Material Quality:softIt leaning more on the soft side. Evn the heel cup is soft, i was expecting the heel cup to be sturdy and supportive. If your looking for a sole to keep your heel from rolling, this is not it. But if what your looking for is for impact absorption, this is it.

I put these Dr. Scholl's Insoles inside every pair of my sneakers. I go on 2 hour walks most days. My feet feel great at the end of the walk. Without the Dr. Scholl's, my feet hurt. Even my toes hurt. I have to cut my walk short if I foolishly go for a walk without Dr. Scholl's insoles inside my sneakers. I highly recommend them. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed!!!!

I’ve had a great pair of athletic shoes that I wear all the time. Still in great shape but suddenly I was starting to get blisters. I thought maybe I would try replacing the inserts. These have been a huge blessing. Easy to cut to fit my shoes. Great arch support and cushioning. Super comfortable. And no blisters!

I got these because I was finding the soles of my Brooks Ghost sneakers to be too thin at the ball of the foot and was experiencing pressure pain. I replaced the insoles with these. They're a significant improvement and offer both support and cushioning. They're more comfortable than the custom orthotics I had from the podiatrist a few years ago, which costed $400!
I have planterfacitous (spelling?). I use these as an arch support and for a nice cushion. I dont know how they would do for running, but they are great for arch support and general comfort.I've used many others and only one works better than these. The other ones are no longer available, so...There are days when cannot walk barefoot without excruciating pain. Even on those days these help tremendously. I'm sure custom insoles would work better, but I can't see myself paying $300 for them. Those are supposed to last 5-10 years, these have lasted 1.5 years so far in my everyday shoes and almost 1 year in my 2nd favorite shoes. I have one in each pair of my 3 shoesand they are awsome. You can change them between shoes, but some are shaped differently at the toe so ... MoreI have planterfacitous (spelling?). I use these as an arch support and for a nice cushion. I have been having unbearable shin splint pain over a year and a half now after I made the mistake of overtraining too quickly one week. Playing sports hasn’t helped one bit since I never had the opportunity to have enough rest to fully heal my shin, meaning the pain would always keep coming back again and again each time I would even slightly run. I’ve tried strengthening the ankle muscles and muscles around the shin, including icing, but that never seemed to help at all. After all these attempts to try to end this constant pain, I decided to bear through the pain because nothing else seemed to work. After a little desperate research on why shin splints happen, I learned that the flattening of my arch, or over-pronation, causes major stress on my shin, causing all my pain. The only answer seemed to be was combatting that over-pronation with a shoe insole that prevented that from happening while I was running. I was skeptical after reading negative reviews and never seeing a review that confirmed it cured/helped with shin splints, but I bought them because any possibility of curing my unbearable pain would at least give me sign of hope. Immediately after putting them on, I felt no pain while walking, which is a huge improvement from constant pain. After one day of wearing the insoles with rest, I could actually touch the sensitive shin area with much pressure with zero pain, which is huge improvement from not even being able to touch the area slightly before. After four days of wearing them with rest, I could walk like I walked before I had shin splints, zero pain, and I could run at a light pace with little pain, which is most likely because the muscles aren’t fully healed yet. After a full week of wearing the insoles, I could finally run full speed with little to no pain during or after the run, meaning the insoles actually relieved the strain off my shin caused by running and allowed my shin splints to start healing. I feel like the only reason they still hurt a little while running is because they still need a little rest to fully heal, but the insoles did relieve me from the extremely painful shin pain before, while, and after running completely. At this point I can actually run like I used to run before I got shin splints. I highly recommend this product to anyone with shin splints; it’s worth the shot, especially since the product it pretty cheap and you are feeling agitating pain as I did. (The “running” includes lots of sprints and distance running on hard surfaces)
