I bought these Dr.Scholl's tri-comfort orthotics because I do a lot of walking, and often get tired, achy feet, as well as back pain. The packaging says "clinically proven pain relief" and are called "tri-comfort". Comfort, pain relief, I'm thinking these are the perfect insoles for me! I was also attracted to the color. The first time I used these, I had to cut my usual walk short, as they actually seemed to CAUSE PAIN in my feet. MUCH worse than my usual achy feet. Both of my feet were REALLY sore in the middle/arch area, and my left foot was getting a shooting pain on the side that I have never experienced before. I took them off when I got home and was fine the rest of the day. Against my better judgement, I tried them again the next day in a different shoe, ... MoreI bought these Dr.Scholl's tri-comfort orthotics because I do a lot of walking, and often get tired, achy feet, as well as back pain. Boy, was I wrong...again I had to cut my walk short because my feet were KILLING me, and significantly increased back pain! This time, when I took them off, the pain did not go away. My feet and back hurt the entire rest of the day. On day three, I did NOT try them again, but instead returned them. The front and back (toe and heel) sections of the insole are soft and cushy to the touch, but the center (arch) part of it is made out of a hard plastic, and I am assuming this is the culprit for the pain. I would recommend avoiding these at all cost.

Dr. Scholl’s Tri-Comfort Shoe Insoles for Women (6-10) Inserts with Flexi Spring Arch Support is an awesomely wonderful insole that I've been buying for over 20 years. The arch support is firm. It washes easily in cold water. Must be popular, since Walmart was out of this product.

I am highly disappointed with my recent purchase of these things. On the package it plainly states that the package contains one pair of Insoles for Men's Shies Size 8-12.When I opened the package and removed the Insoles and i commenced to placing them in my shoes which are Size 12 btw they didn't even fit the entire shoe. Honestly, I am thinking that these Insoles are more like for a Men's shoes Size 8. 😡😡

These insoles made wearing a new pair of sneakers wearable! I hadn't realised just how flat they were inside until i wore them shopping and had to put these insoles inside them. I bought 2 more to put in another shoe and 1 for a family member who was having the same problem and she`s delighted with them! This shorter design of insole where the padding stops at just under the ball of your foot so the bones are supported there without the added bulk under the toes which makes a shoe too crowded I always buy thick soled shoes for the padding but sometimes they have no instep or are hard inside-these insoles are a game changer! 5 STARS
I ordered these initially for my work, ballet flats, and after realizing how thick they were, I thought that they wouldn’t be a good fit, and I was going to transition them into a pair of running shoes just for more support.. well to my surprise they fit perfect inside the shoe. They do not take up too much room. The insole is half of sole mostly towards the heel of the foot giving you arch control, and cushion on the heel. I adjusted my buckles on my ballet flats and they fit perfect —instead of having to throw these ballet flats away. I was able to save them to wear at least for the rest of the year. Ballet flats dont last long because I normally walk two blocks due to congested parking at my job, but nevertheless, these did exactly what I needed to do and I ... MoreI ordered these initially for my work, ballet flats, and after realizing how thick they were, I thought that they wouldn’t be a good fit, and I was going to transition them into a pair of running shoes just for more support.. well to my surprise they fit perfect inside the shoe. My wife has plantar fasciitis and is on her feet all day long. She truly suffered for at least the last 10 years. It all changed when her doctor told her to give this brand a try we were getting the $130 pair that were specifically made for her feet. Insurance would not cover these for some strange reason so she could only afford these every once in a while. She asked her doctor if there was anything else that she could use and he told her to try these. Thank goodness she did and her feet have been pain free since. If your feet are hurting try these you won’t regret.
I wear anything from a size 8-1/2 to 10 shoe, medium width, depending on the style. These insoles are barely wide enough for my narrow heel. They will work in most of my shoes but are way too short and narrow for my size 10 winter boots (sized up to allow for heavier socks). I am female but should have ordered the men's size for that purpose. That is disappointing, because I mainly bought them for my boots. Except for that, I love these insoles. They provide excellent arch support, heel cushioning, and overall comfort--once you get the right size.
No matter how complicated the orthotic can become, these Basic Dr Scholl's are the best for replacing the insole of favorite shoes like Eccos. These are not for "particular" issues that might require expensive insoles. These are a balanced support for all three areas, ball of the foot, arch and heel. The support stays and doesn't collapse after a few days. These might not be what is needed for endurance running. But for everyday, busy life - they are great. And what a value!
Both my husband and I are big fans of Dr Scholls products, specifically inserts, cushions and heel liners. I think we have tried most inserts that come out on the market. Even if we are very happy with a product, when it is time to replace a pair of inserts, we usually try a new Dr Scholls product.I love that you can wear these inserts in most shoes and as long as your shoes aren't already very tight, these will fit right in and feel comfortable. As a matter of fact, I use them in a few pairs of shoes / boots that are just a bit too large and these inserts make the shoes fit better, while providing cushioning anf support at the same time.My husband has been wearing these inserts every day for a few weeks now and they feel very comfortable. They have a good arch and sufficient cushioning. Their shaped in such a way to fit your shoes without overcrowding your toes. He has even worn them in his flip flops around the house and surprisingly they stayed on.They can last up to six months, but for those slightly overweight, it might be necessary to be replaced more often. Dr. Scholl's products come with a 90-day money-back guarantee, so you can always get a refund if you are not completely satisfied.
Ordered online:On opening the mailer, the package was already open. Apparently, this pair had been opened, tried on, and returned, there was even dog/cat hair on it. I decided to try them anyway, and was sorry I did. I was hoping for some relief for the balls of my feet, but the angle made by the hard plastic arch put MORE pressure on the balls of my feet. Within five minutes they were back in the package (probably what the previous purchaser did) and I’ll return them. So, if you order online and get an open package, this is probably it.I’m usually happy with Academy, but not this time.
