After the first or second label printed, the tape stopped producing quality labels. It appears as though it ran out of ink; though I don't believe that's how this tape works, it does not print clear, visible text any more.DYMO Industrial Labels for DYMO Industrial RhinoPro Label Makers, Black on Yellow, 1/2", 1 Roll (18490)

I don't have a Dymo Rhino Labeler, but I do have a Dymo LabelWriter Duo and a Dymo LabelWriter 450 Duo. These labels fit in printers that accept Dymo D1 Tape cartridges, further expanding the media available. The flexible Nylon is perfect for use on cables and similar items that may flex and bend. These tape labels provide a easy to read label that is customizable, especially if you use a label printer that can attach to your computer. The only real complaint is the overall cost, slightly more expensive, but they are worth the extra cost when you need a little flexibility.

I wanted to like these but the print quality is so so. The backing also does not come off that easy. Yes they are doing what they should and maybe it is just this batch but going to actually try a different brand then the OEM.

I've used these same labels now for almost 3 years and have bought about 15 boxes during this time. These labels adhere really well, don't smear, and the edges or corners don't curl up ... you place them on a clean, dry surface and they seem to adhere forever. I use them now in my DYMO Rhino 4100 label maker to make all kinds and sizes of labels for wire/cable, my breaker box, and all kinds of tools and things around the house. I put one with my wife's name on a water bottle she takes to work two years ago, and after many washings and lots of use, the label still looks like new. One word of caution ... making labels can get addictive !!!
I bought this tape based on its claims of durability in outdoor environments. My first batch of labels were placed in near-freezing temperatures, but the tape remains firm and unblemished a month later. I wanted to wait for warmer temperatures, but my project just couldn't wait.My only con would be that it is a little difficult to peel the backing paper off. I'd prefer to have a one-piece peel, and paper that isn't so static clingy afterwards. I've had to break up my project over several days because the peel-off process is slower than anticipated.
These labels were exactly what I was looking for. The adhesive is stronger and sticks to clean surfaces better, and the backing has a slit down the center so it is very easy to peel off. Great stuff.
These labels work great and hold up very well in harsh environments. They are pretty expensive, but they are good quality labels. I use these at a ski area for labeling a variety of different things, ranging from networking connections to outdoor electrical connections to rental equipment. These labels hold up well in sub-zero conditions and last well in the snow. They can withstand some high temperatures as well and have held up for a long time. One of the flaws I have found with these labels is it is very easy to rip the black part of the label that fees back into the cartridge. If this happens, the rest of the tape in the cartridge may not feed correctly and results in varying quality labels. I have wasted a couple of cartridges due to this.
These seem to be genuine labels for about $10 cheaper than anywhere else I've seen them. They work great in my rhino 5200 machine.
I have been using this exact 1/2-inch refill (prints black on the white tape) for my DYMO Rhino 4200 label maker, and I absolutely love it and these refill cartridges for it. These cartridges never jam, are easy to peel off the backing, and they adhere fantastic. And, if you make a mistake and don't place it exactly like you wanted, you have time to slip something like a single-edged razor blade under one corner and carefully lift it up. The type does not smear. Get one of these label makers, and it becomes kinda of addictive ... I label my pipes in basement, valves in basement by furnace, oil filters/fuel filters with the dates I changed them, my fold up lawn chairs, storage bins in my workshop, and put my name on all sorts of things like my camera, radio control ... MoreI have been using this exact 1/2-inch refill (prints black on the white tape) for my DYMO Rhino 4200 label maker, and I absolutely love it and these refill cartridges for it. I've bought over 20 in last year or more for my sons' label maker (make great stocking stuffers for adults), and the online Wal-Mart had the best price.
We make a lot of labels for plastic bins for an inventory system. We have tried several off brands label tapes but one fo them have the consistent quality of the 1845 DYMO tape. That said, since it is almost 3x more expensive than off-brand tape, we use it almost exclusively for smaller labels and use an off-brand (Aonomi 18445) for extra-large labels.
