I honestly had no idea what to expect from this hair serum and I ended up being so pleasantly surprised! My hair is very fine, straight, and processed. Therefore, I need product to keep my hair looking smooth and not frizzy, but it needs to be light enough so that my hair does not get weighed down. This serum, applied after drying my hair, keeps my hair looking smooth and shiny and free of frizz, and is super lightweight. I’m not really using it for hold necessarily, but I do find that my hair maintains a smooth appearance for the duration of the day after I’ve applied it. I’m pretty impressed! The shine this gives my hair is unreal. It’s meant to be used on dry, already styled hair. While I typically wear my hair straight, it tends to get very frizzy especially in this hot humid weather. This does a great job as smoothing the frizz and keeping it away. On the odd chance that I wear my hair curled, this serum helps to define and hold. My curls last longer and look better than they normally would. One or two pumps is enough for my shoulder length hair. Love the pump dispenser as well. Now this Post-style serum, I love! The pump system makes it easy to proportion out, which I believe will make the product more cost efficient. The serum is light weight. For my thick and just below the shoulder length hair, 2 pumps works best for me. I use it just on the ends for a more defined look. You honestly don't feel like you put any product on, except your hair looks fantastic. This serum is definitely going to be my Go To product. As I don't wash my hair everyday, I will touch up with the post-style serum the next day. Only one pump though.
