I bought few weeks ago and one of our best choice. Our apartment floor is tile and timber, how much we tried to mop and sweep dust particles existed. It was a nightmare for us. After checking and comparing many vacuum cleaners we selected this and that’s the best. Now we have no worries about dust. Handy, easy to use and best cleaner

My V12 slim has replaced my original dyson DC23 which still works well after 15 years use. The DC23 was very powerfull but heavey and cumbersome, everything about it was big. The V12 does the same thing. It is lighter and easier to use, and all components interconect easily. All the motorheads are very efficient; the laser light is very usefull, and not the gimmick as first thought. Plenty of battery life and the small bin is more than big enough. A brilliant piece of equipment.

I ordered this yesterday afternoon and received it, lunchtime today, excellent service! As to the vacuum cleaner, having used the older cordless, this one is so much better, no holding handle to keep on, just switch it on, it picks up very well, have 2 cats, 1 long haired and coped well with that, my only criticism would be to make dirt collected bigger! But even so, still gets 5 stars from me, absolutely love it! Thank you Dyson!

After reading a lot of reviews and comparisons on the Dyson V12 Detect Slim I decided to purchase this stick vac even though I thought it to be expensive. I was pleasantly surprised of the light weight and how well it performs and all the attachments are very useful and also work well. In conjunction with the user manual I found the Dyson V12 Detect Slim easy to use and it feels well constructed to last many years. I'm very pleased to have made the purchase.
I bought this after consulting with Dyson "experts" and I managed to make a not suitable for our needs & wrong purchase. I had to return the product because it was not having in the box the attachments we need and was not DETECT as advertised (I have lots of print screens with pictures with misleading advertising for V12 being DETECT). I also have the written confirmation from their experts that V12 is detect. I bought after a week a V12 Complete which is having all the attachments we need, but still is not detect as they advertised. The product itself is good, the vacuum power is acceptable for a cordless one, the attachments are very easy to exchange between them when you vacuum clean. I highly appreciate the laser brush on hard floor. My first Dyson upright, light, easy to maneuver, good connections, first time to use it today, assembled by friends as I am not good at it; been looking for one and found this by chance at a discounted price; the detect light feature is handy, can see the dirt accumulating; chose this cuz of its lightness, slim, one touch button and good for my small place. Thanking Dyson in advance for an excellent product.
The ground-hugging laser light is an amazing addition to a very capable machine. Now we can see what's usually invisible to the eye, and it's perfect for those dark inconspicuous places - under tables and chairs where lack of light masks how dirty the floor actually is. I even turn off/dim the lights to get the best view. We've had this 3 weeks and really like it. Very happy!
I just received it within 2 days. It's easy to unpack, install and store. I use it on auto mode for my 3br cottage home. I have no shaggy carpets. I've found this a pleasure to use. Run time left after doing my whole house - so it's enough. Yes you do have to worry the small bin but that was in the test video so I was prepared for that. Yes some long hair etc gets caught and you have to use fingers to remove it but you were living in that in any case so it shouldn't gross anyone out. I have 2 dogs and this is so light and easy to use and frankly I don't miss the dust and fur on my floors at all :) well done Dyson. I also don't miss the cord= no more to hazard for me. I do feel for the price you could have added the stand but that's just my opinion.
This is my first stick vacuum and I love it. It completely changes the way to clean because it is so easy to get it and attend to dirt you notice without having to struggle with cord and hose and a heavy barrel. It is quicker to cover the same area because of this as well. So I clean more often and hopefully have less dust in my house. It has a laser beam which enables you to see under beds, couches and other furniture. The head is a bit wobbly but this can be managed with practice. Easy to empty. I bought it because it is the lightest weight of all Dysons.
Dyson V12 Detect Slim Complete is great. I don't think twice about getting it out to pick up crumbs or to do entire rooms. Its always ready on the stand with the cleaner head on it plus an extra tool on the wand. Suction is strong, accessories very useful, very easy to manouvre even with my bad arthritic hand, very lightweight, plenty of room in the bin for dust and dirt, the green light works so well in dark areas. Can't fault this cleaner. Delivery was very fast, just couple days. A pleasure to use. My floors are spotless and shiny, it works very well on my carpet, gets close to corners and edges, low profile and it looks nice.
