I am a diehard Ecco sandal wearer. I have been for many, many years. I buy a new pair for long vacations and know I don't even have to break them in. However, the multicolor sage that I ordered was none of those things. It is a beautiful sandal, but almost unwearable. It was like walking on a board. I was very disappointed in this sandal for the very first time. Hopefully it will eventually break in.

I have been buying Ecco sandals for years so when my last pair finally gave out and I saw these on sale, I bought them. I gave a 4 star rating because they are not as well made as my previous pairs. To be fair, I am very hard on shoes and I wear these daily and walk alot. That said I would recommend them to anyone looking for good arch support and traction for long walks on any surface. They are pricey but worth it for any die-hard pedestrian.

I really love the Yucatan sandals. This is my third pair. One disappointment this time is that the sandals have a "musty" odor. I'm hopeful that over time the smell dissipates...if not, I'll be disappointed. I contacted customer service and was told that I could wash them but these are brand new and I don't want to risk what that might do to the leather. I wore them a couple times before I realized the smell was so bad and customer service told me there was nothing they could do. Oh well!

I like them because they are a light attractive colour to wear with summer dresses, and summer clothing. My social outing shoes!However make in inner part of shoe, not seen by customer, is not as secure or strong as in My multi colour Off Road, Ecco shoes. So they are not made for heavy duty Off Road wear. Fair,inner quality, .
This purchase officially marks the 6th time buying these ECCOS. They are simply the best. Very hard to wear out, but I managed to wear out my first two by numerous walking tours of various places in Europe. These are also my daily dog walking shoes. They are great on all terrains city and country. They don't slip even in the rain. They dry out over night. Can be worn with or without socks. The three adjustable Velcro straps make them your personal comfortable shoe. Though pricey, they are really worth the cost.
I ordered these because my sister raves about them. I ordered online since the nearest store is almost two hours away. Sadly there were too small. I tried to order a larger size but the 50% off sale is over and unfortunately Ecco does not do exchanges online or in store so I will be returning these and go another summer without sandals. Since I did not get to wear them I have no idea about the quality and comfort.
The size 8 was too big for my feet. Also, whoever packed the sandals did not remove the security tag on the left foot sandal! The pair delivered was labelled as "display" on the box. I did not expect this. Anyway, I would never pay full price for a display. I was disappointed with entire experience of having these sandals shipped to my home by Macy's.
Yucatan is my favorite offroad sandal. Fourth pair. Fit well. I wear size 9, got a euro 40. My friend, going to several natl parks in one month asked about my sandals. She bought some and wore them all the time on her trip. Hiking, water, whatever. Same with me. I bought new pair cuz other ones were so old I got flat tires on the rear. Need them for off road riding in Utah. They look good too. Some sandals of this type look clunky.
Love my collection of Ecco sandals! Stopped at Pt Charlotte store to make returns andvisited my favorite depts.. Was shown these by the shoe person, gave my size and paid, Easy enough!!!Since I live in SWFlorida I can wear them all year long. I KNOW I OWN 20 different pairs and my friend owns more than I do. I think I should give this shoe more than 5 stars?
I purchased the shoes in late January. I wore the shoes indoors for a little time, while I was getting used to them and making sure they were a comfortable fit. When I finally ventured outdoors for a 1 hour walk, I developed pressure sores on both my heals and my left big toe, which then turned into blisters. I'm not impressed at all with these shoes. Not worth the money spent.
