I bought myself a pair of Ecco offroad sandals about 6 years ago. At the time I thought they were comfortable but were quite pricey. 6 years onwards, the shoes are still looking and feeling great and have had an enormous amount of wear but still look fantastic. I can now say that the price these shoes cost are absolutely worth it. I've worn them through two pregnancies, through various national park treks, shopping, the beach, everywhere. When they got very muddy at one point, out of desperation I threw them into the washing machine and then through the dryer on the show drying rack (they are mostly leather, so I wasn't sure if this would ruin them) and they have come out still looking great. For as long as I can remember, I have always worn Ecco shoes - they are eternal, I changed my sandals because they faded or I just wanted something new, so I ordered another pair without hesitation. To say that I was shocked when I received them is to say nothing. No, the quality is excellent as always, but the length and width of the shoes have changed - they have become narrower and the insole has become shorter. When I undid the strap to increase the width of the shoes, half of the Velcro became visible, it's very ugly, I didn't even measure the second sandals. I took them to the store. Terribly disappointed!

Help please! I wore these sandals when I was in Jordan. So comfortable and easy to wear in the hot humid climate.I wore them in The Dead Sea, as it is very rough underfoot. I washed them and now they are taking forever to dry. It has been nearly 3 weeks..I am home and have them hanging on the clothesline but are still wet. Am thinking I may have to buy a kg of rice and bury them in that. Any thoughts?

This is my second pair of ECCO Offroad Sandals. Since I can't remember when I bought my first pair, that tells you that they last a long time. These sandals are cool, comfortable, and rugged. They are my go-to choice for walking, hiking, and running errands. I love the adjustable straps as I have a fairly shallow instep and these sandals are secure, where others are loose and let my foot slide around. The colors in the petrol/aubergine pair I purchased are pretty and a nice change from the boring khaki color of my old ones. As an older woman, I appreciate having secure footwear when I'm walking on unfamiliar paths and streets. They look good, fit well, and I love them. I wear an 8.5-9.0 shoe and bought a size 39.
Super comfortable and adjustable every which way. I use them for light hiking in Northern CA. I like that they’re not as heavy as my regular hiking boots. They run big - I’m usually 7.5 in regular shoes, and I wear size 8 in hiking shoes and boots, but these Eccos Offroad were too large in 7.5, but they fit perfect in size 7.They’re pricey but worth every penny if you plan to do a lot of walking in them. Good alternative to hiking shoes for summer months.
I bought my first pair of Yucatan Sandals five or six years ago for an upcoming trip to New York City, where I lived in the 1970's. I was planning to be a tour guide for my wife and we would be walking A LOT every day for two weeks in Manhattan and Brooklyn, and it was going to be even hotter and more humid than usual for a New York City summer. These sandals were great! They are solid and comfortable, they let your feet breathe, they give good support, and they look good. Quality construction all around.I have worn them every day all summer long and for much of the spring and fall ever year since then. I wear them almost all the time in the house year-round instead of slippers, because they are more comfortable than any pair of slippers I've worn. I live in western ... I wear them almost all the time in the house year-round instead of slippers, because they are more comfortable than any pair of slippers I've worn. I live in western Washington state, and the natives here are not afraid to wear socks with sandals, and I do that in cold weather - - that's how much I love these sandals. If it's not raining or snowing, I'm probably wearing my ecco Yucatan sandals.Last summer the hook-and-loop fasteners on the ankle straps started to lose their grip, and the soles were getting pretty worn, so I bought a new pair, which I've worn since then. These are GREAT sandals.(Yes, this is a real review by a real customer, and I do not own stock in ecco)
Total experience was excellent. Product on sale! Got to luv that. I have several pairs of Ecco “off roads” and never ever had compliments about this style of shoe previously, have had compliments from friends who normally would not notice. My new off roads are vibrant, fun n super super comfortable. It’s all about the color. They are so underrated. Delivery was efficient n prompt. Luv my new off roads…💖
There are not enough superlatives to express how much I love these shoes. We own our on travel company and take groups all over the world. My feet are always a problem as I have a neuroma on my left foot and some nerve damage from the days of wearing high heels and stylish pointy toed shoes. I'm not the sneaker type because I hate closed tied shoes. And I love colors - especially primary colors. When I found these colorful Yucatán sport sandals, I had to have them. So far in two years these sandals have been to India twice, Myanmar Thailand, China, Japan, Cambodia, Spain and Portugal, and just got back from France. I can't tell you how. Many people around the world have asked me about my shoes (specially India where they love color!) and where they could get them, I should be your worldwide Ecco Ambassador. For sure they have been my favorite shoes ever, and lord knows there have been hundreds. The last time I could say that about shoes were very cute wedge shoes with a lot of support. Only problem is that when you step on a cobblestone in Scotland, you break your foot - which I did. And you certainly can't climb temple steps in India or elephant paths in Thailand. So I had to change up my style. I looked and looked and when I found these Yucatán multicolor sandals, I was very happy. From the first day out of the box until today they have been comfortable, supportive shoes ever. And now for the negative. I want another pair (actually 2 pair) and I can't find them anywhere. Will they be available again in a size 40? Pretty Please? Thanks for your always good service and response. Pat Liner
I was talked into buying these sandals to wear travelling. I decided to start wearing them in and whilst the fit is really good and there is plenty of support, the base is so hard as there is no cushioning. It’s like walking on boards. As a consequence I now have sore forefoot on both feet. Ie sesamoiditis and metatarsalagia. I wish I had of gone with my first intention and purchase sneakers.
I have tried to return these sandals as they are causing my toes to go numb and I am having so much discomfort wearing them. I have only warn them twice and ECCO will not help me out by changing them. They do not believe what I am saying to them that these sandals are so uncomfortable for me. I will never buy or recommend these to anyone. The customer service is dreadful.
