This kit really does have every size brush that you will ever truly need in your collection. I continue to gravitate towards Ecotools brushes whenever I’m at the drugstore or at Tjmaxx because they consistently leave me with a beautiful finish. I would like to say I do own a few brushes from eco tools and I love the blending sponges the most. I also love the silicone beauty blender they have it works so well to make my foundation really last me a long time!

Almost Everything I need

If you prefer a natural look and don't spend hours and a fortune on a makeup obsession, this set is fantastic. I only bought one more brush from the same line that feels very compacted and I use to create a harsh cheek and nose contour (to make me look skinnier). I have no use for the smallest brush so I just use it for my paint by colors hobby. I use the blush brush to also apply an oil absorbing finishing powder and use the other two brushes to highlight my nose and eyebrow. I also love that the handles are wooden and that the package has seeds so you can plant the whole thing. WOW NICE TOUCH

I have a mini brush set from Ecotools that has served me well but I have not been able to source again to repurchase. Bought this larger set primarily because it was the closest to my needs. Recently invested in some Mykitco brushes at a higher price tag and was disapointed with quality and performance so thought best to go back and try old faves Ecotools.The set itself is varied. The angled liner is totally useless for precise lines as splays out slightly towards the cut edge. If you want to line a horses eye maybe this is okay..but seems too big for human eyes. Is okay to blend in eyebrows or kinda blur eyelines but no good for the job it is intended to. The defined crease brush is better at blurring than the blurring blush. Maybe Ecotools got this mixed up. Both are lovely for eyeshadow and if like me your upper eye skin is a little crepey..they do wonders to blend and minimise the crinkles. Gorgeous to use.They also work for light blending of concealer etc around eyes and crevices.The angled foundation brush is firm firm firm..I really wanted a replica of Ecotools mini blending foundation brush which is circular and allows for circular blending in all directions. This angled foundation brush is unwieldy to work with as rather narrow, a little too firm and only allows for limited directional blending...strokes blending in same direction. It isnt fantastic to blend with, but then neither was the Chanel or MAC foundation brushes I had before. I like a gentle circular blending.The full brush is really full More like a powder puff of old and powder goes everywhere. I use it to dab on then blend, using smaller blending brushes to reach creases. The finish isnt amazing but will do.Overall the set is an okay price for the two brushes I am happy with..and the ones I am not happy with I can get by with until they are replaced with others. Four stars because of eco thing. The components are sound and eco friendly.

Excellent set of make up brushes!

Excellent quality brushes, with a beautiful look and feel. The shape of each brush is specific for the use it's labelled with. They hold product well, and don't over-absorb/waste the product. I wash these brushes regularly, and the bristles haven't loosened or bent. With care, these brushes should last me for years, as I've had them a year and they're still immaculate. The storage "tin" isn't a tin, but a plastic tray. Although I put them back in the tray, it isn't super-pretty, and I could probably just as easily throw it away and keep the brushes in a jar. The tray does have a clear lid and it keeps the dust off the brushes, though.

Great set!

I added an EcoTools Wonder Cover™ Complexion Foundation Makeup Brush and my makeup brush set is complete. They’re decent brushes. But, I use simple makeup for a natural look. I refuse to spend large amount of money on brushes. I’d rather save it to use on better quality makeup. I also try to choose more environmentally-friendly products. Eco-tools seemed like a better choice for me in comparison to other brands.

Termites in the wooden handle

There were termites in the wood. When I got this from Target, I noticed some really fine powder in the container and thought no big deal. However, when I opened it, I realized that one of the brushes had a lot of tiny holes in it. I thought it was due to termites, and my husband confirmed. We are praying the packaging was airtight so that they didn’t get into our home in the meantime since I did buy it, bring it inside, and open it several days later.

Very nice basic set

Really great set, includes all of the essentials and due to the tin, they're easy to travel with and keep organized. These are great quality brushes. I have not experienced any shedding, they are soft on my skin but also firm, which allows more precise application. Giving 4 stars only because I wish the "basic sets" included a lip brush versus the multiple eye color brushes. These also clean well. I would buy these again.

What A Find!

I was looking for a new powder brush and bought these on a whim. What a great purchase. The powder brush is really fantastic: loads the right amount of powder, super soft and does not shed. Have not used all of the other brushes, but am sure they will be just as good! I am considering a second set for use as a blush brush! I love that they are an eco friendly product and the tin is nice for storage.
