I love me a good sunscreen and prefer a physical sunscreen over a chemical one any day...but it's finding one that A) Doesn't leave a white cast, B) Isn't oily/greasy. Unfortunately the Edible Beauty sunscreen does both. It has a lovely citrus fragrance that is not overpowering, but, that's where the positives end for me. Doesn't matter how little I use, this white cream turns to an oily mess on my skin that doesn't absorb and leaves a slight white cast. It is also recommended to reapply every 90 minutes! Not something to wear under makeup either. Sorry, very disappointing - The Edible Beauty cleanser is lovely though!

After having treatment on my face for skin cancer I was advised to wear sunscreen every day. I hate the feeling of wearing sunscreen! So after testing out several other brands I was delighted to find Basking Beauty Natural Sunscreen. I LOVE IT . It feels more like skin care than sunscreen. I will continue to buy this sunscreen as now I feel happy to put on my daily sun protection. Thank you Edible Beauty.

I absolutely love Edible Beauty products and have been using them all for many years now and I wouldn't use anything else! I recently purchased this sunscreen for my face and unfortunately I was disappointed. I found it to be very very greasy and when I applied it to my face it made it red straight away. Not in the sense that it was harsh or irritating on my skin but it seemed to bring out my red blemishes and make my whole face red. I ended up having to use concealer on top to cover it up. It was however nice to apply. I won't be using this sunscreen on my face again and I wouldn't recommend purchasing it for your face. It would be fine on the body if you are looking for a really moisturising and somewhat greasy coverage.

This is absolutely the best "Natural Sunscreen" I have ever used. It goes on beautifully, soaks in fast and no white residue and makes the skin so soft and hydrated. Having the oils in with the zinc makes it so easy to put on and goes a long way.I have always used only natural zinc sunscreen and I have tried them all and have 2 favourites, but after trying this one it is by far the best. I cannot rave enough about it.Highly recommend
Really happy with this beautiful sunscreen! It is not oily and doesn't leave a white streak over my skin. This summer is super hot and I needed this nearly every day as I am outdoors alot. A tiny bit is sufficient. The sunscreen is creamy and has a faint scent and glides over the skin beautifully and effortlessly. Most of all, I have peace of mind in knowing it is non-toxic and safe for my skin so it just feels great to be using this to protect myself. It is highly recommended and I will be buying more!
I really love this sunscreen. I bought it to use on my face. I was so pleased that it didn’t leave any white cast at all. I’ve tried a lot of natural sunscreens over the years and most either feel really oily and sticky and or leave a horrible white cast. I would say it feels and looks similar to when I add a couple of drops of facial oil to my moisturiser. Overall I’m really impressed by this product and would highly recommend it!
I have super sun sensitive skin due to medications I take for a health condition. This sunscreen doesn’t cause sore watery eyes as most usually do for me! I lost my sun hat when kayaking and was glad of no sun burnt face afterwards. It does need to be rubbed in due to the zinc in it however the evening primrose also in it makes it feel like a treatment For my ageing and dry skin. I recently purchased more plus one for my friend as I love it so much!
I finally stopped searching!! This is the only sunscreen that is suitable for my skin type and won't cause breakouts. It took about a month for my skin to get used it. Now it's becoming my daily routine with EB serum, beauty reset bakuchiol oil and lastly this silky sunscreen with lovely citrusy scent. I'm glad Anna made a short video on how to apply this sunscreen, it turned out I was using way too much before. I have repurchased and stocked up, and always keeping one tube in makeup bag so I can reapply whenever I need. 💞💞💞
I wanted to like this but found it far too drying for my skin. I love that is scented with lemongrass - a nice change from the coconut cliche. I persevered and used the whole tube but it just dried my skin out too much and left me itching and flaky. It's a thick, heavy sunscreen that takes a few minutes to disappear but I did not get burnt even after applying once in the mornings and being out on the beaches all day without reapplying. I have normal to oily skin usually but this one isn't compatible. I tried mixing rosehip and avocado oils in for extra moisture but made no difference. Going back to UV Naturals or Eco by Sonya.
I have your typical dry sensitive skin that reacts to almost anything I put on it. I have not had a reaction to this product. It’s so gentle on the eyes and does not have that disgusting sunscreen taste. It’s moisturising without feeling like sunscreen. Will purchase this time and time again. Will recommended to others every single time. I’ve never bothered to review a product before but felt this was definitely worthy of a review. First time user fully converted to basking beauty natural sunscreen.
