Very powerful and easily dealt with edges that had been overgrown for 2 years. Build quality and design are very good.Much easier to handle than my heavy old petrol edger, and I no longer have to worry about mixing fuel/oil and straining my back trying to start the motor.Neighbours are now very jealous and all looking to upgrade as well.

This is one of the best investments I have made. My EGO Tools are powerful, easy to use and of course quiet compared to petrol garden tools. I can do all my yard work just by changing the attachment which only takes 5 to 10 seconds. No fuss with fuel, leads or starting. I am very pleased with their performance and reliability.

The edger does what it says it will do very effectively. The battery is easilychargeable. The tool is light enough to use without using a lot of energy. It’s made new edges where I had none and improved all the existing edges. I think I might like it to be a but sharper but that may just my inexperience in using it.

I bought the Power+Power+ multi tool edger a few weeks ago. Straight from the get go you can tell this is built for the job and to last. It has incredible power with 2 speeds and does a professional job. Height adjustment is as simple as loosening the knob on the wheel and moving it to your desired depth. Extremely happy with the new addition to my EGO family.

I just bought the edger and the EGO blower to replace my gas powered similar tools. Today i just used the edger and the blower and to my great dismay the battery (2.5A which came with the blower) quit after a half hour of use!!! I investigated the items thoroughly (I thought?) on line and thought they would be equivalent to the power equipment they were replacing ?? I think I should NOT have to buy a second battery @$150 just to achieve an hour of tool use. My gas powered edger has failed but my gas powered blower has not ( the EGO blower((residential)) is no where near as powerful as my ECHO blower. One two gal gas can of fuel propelled my blower,edger,& chain saw all summer long ($5.00 ?? cost as opposed to a $150.00 extra battery.
The Edger is yet another great EGO tool to add to my shedful of EGO products.EGO's superior battery technology is the reason I switched to EGO for all my lawn & garden tools. They have maintained this technology edge over all competition.Expensive but good.
While somewhat expensive when you add in the power head, this is a great, easy to use tool which makes a great job of your edges. One issue I encountered is that if you have a nib close to the fence on the wheel side you need to loosen and swivel the handle around to be able to get close enough to the fence. Still a great product and I would recommend it!
I wanting to go with battery operated equiptment but was very reluctant to believe that a battery operated edger would cut throught Florida's st augustine grass.After reading the reviews and with a leep of faith I made the purchase and glad I did. The edger functions just as described and had no problem cutting through the thick st augustine grass runners. It is slightly heavier than my gas power edger but it's so nice just to click on a battery and go. I bought two of the 2.5 batteries to minimize the weight and I have more run time than I'll ever need. I'm 61 and just tired of pull cords to start engines.
My arsenal of EGO tools has grown steadily over the last couple of years. Mower, power head + line trimmer, hedge tool, pole chainsaw, blower....but I have one regret about my latest purchase of this edging tool..... It should have been the first tool I bought.The finish your lawn gets from this tool is just so much better than you get from a line trimmer or even a hand edging tool.
