Like. Cuts and pick up well. Easy to use and manouver. Easy folding storage.Like Les Battery usage; quite high and recharging quite slow. But still makes it an excelent mower.

Amazing Lawnmower

I’ve always paid someone to mow my lawns until I bought this! And then I realised just how much of a poor job the others were doing. I’m 61 years of age with some sloping section. The self propelling function is a dream. The cut is fantastic and it handles like a dream. Battery lasts forever and one charge does the trick. I even enjoy the manual cleaning of it before tucking it away until next time. Utube has some excellent tips for cleaning. Love this lawnmower. Definitely worth the price and the free battery redemption was a bonus. Highly recommend this product.

Backup mower required!

We bought the mower from Mitre 10 Whakatane 4 months ago and it has been in the repair shop for half the time I've owned it. Made 6 cuts before the self-propelled mechanism broke down. Had to be sent to Rotorua for repair as it's pretty much the only place that works on them - it's still there! Had to keep ringing Mitre 10 for updates. We bought from them as they are NZ owned and wished to support them but are very disappointed with their customer care.

Buy with caution

This is an updated review having purchased LM2135sp mower recently. Great mower, and double blades produce superior mulching. But soon after purchase it often took two presses of the start button to get going and now does not start at all. This is not a battery problem but within the mower electrics. Also the battery charger now makes a grinding noise on start up, and a second 10ah battery has a thermostat problem. Mower is in for repair under guarantee and I am using my older first EGO mower.So faults seem to be name of the game with the EGO product in my long experience which is disappointing but probably that is why they have a 5 year guarantee! Couldn't collect a thing! Useless.

Bought this mower and instantly something wasn't right. Kept cutting out and left a trail of grass cuttings to one side, dry grass cuttings, not wet. Eventually got it replaced under warranty. Fair enough you do get dodgy machines so a new mower was fair. Again poor performance for collection, during the dry summer not a lot of growth and it probably collected 50% and dropped the other 50% of clippings along the side of the cut path. No boost mode either unlike other competitors. Poor machine, not fit for purpose based on a collecting mower. How it is with mulching I do not know. It's England and I collect grass cutting for the compost.

Ego self propelled mower . Great purchase

This is the second ego mower I've purchased and it is superb. The self drive is very powerful and copes well with slopes and the variable cut suits all grass lengths. Very satisfied.

Electric mowing worth it

Purchased the EGO LM2135sp recently, after using my first EGO lawnmower mower for 5 years. The first model has had parts replaced under the excellent 5 year guarantee which is is well managed by Mitre 10 Papanui. The LM2135sp is more powerful and bugs seem ironed out with easy push button control and speed dial although this can take some getting use to. I mow a lot during the year including damp and dry grass of different lengths. Not too hard to tip mower on its side and wipe damp grass clogging the deck with gloves. Great mulching and bagging.Powerful mower, small storage footprint and no fumes. Weight is similar to petrol mower and with a big lawn you will need a second battery. The mower and long life battery technology are worth paying a premium for.

Great mower

Bought to mow our new large 2000m2 lawn and very pleased with the mower. Cuts well with plenty of power and easy to use as no pushing needed. NX prices for Ego gear are very expensive compared to Australia, which is our only negative. Mitre10 have a monopoly to sell in NZ so are profiteering in our view. Come on Ego, let another retailer see your brand here!

Powerful with a few niggles

great purchase

my house had knee high grass mixed in with nightshade plants and this mower smashed through it like butter. A bit on the expensive side but worth it, my lawn used to take 1.5hrs with emptying the catch every 2 strips and with the mulching attachment on this one it takes me 30 mins now, yard is 1/4 acre section.
