I've only ever had cheap whey protein supplements from Chemist Warehouse before trying Amino Z...and ho boy, I've been missing out all my life.The cheap stuff I used to drink would leave a lot of undissolved stuff even after you give it a vigorous shake/stir/jerk in your mixer but Amino Z's WPI completely dissolves easily in water ensuring all the goodness ends up in your body, not at the bottom of your bottle.I decided to try Iced Chai Latte on my first go thinking it would taste unbearable as it had the third most protein content per 100g in the lineup, with unflavoured being the one with the most protein per 100g. The mandarin flavour is everything you want in a pre workout! It somehow tastes exactly like mandarin and is not too sweet. I have been using OxyShred for about 6 years and, after trying pretty much all flavours available in whichever country I am in, my constant favourite is Raspberry Refresh, but mandarin is now right up there with it. As always, you don’t get jitters or an itchy face (it’s a fat burner, not a pump), and it mixes super well with ice cold water.The only problem I ever have with Oxy, and I mean EVERY single tub of it, is it clumps after about a month. I can keep it away from all moisture and it will still turn into a block by the end. Amino Z Whey is literally the best value for money product I can get in Australia. If you don't believe me, go whip out your calculator and do the math yourself. I literally excel spreadsheet my protein-carbsper dollar ratio and I cannot find any other product that matches them. I used to use other brand (that American one) and has since completely switched to this.Amino Z Whey is tasty (I've tried about 6 flavours) and all of them go from "not bad" to "dang this is bloody tasty". I got this after everyone speaking about it and swearing it was a game changer during their workouts. My expectations were a lot and I was really excited to try it. Unfortunately, I was disappointed as I could not tell any difference at all to my workout. I got the wild melon flavour as that’s all that was available, and I like melon. The smell is awful, genuinely feel like I am going to throw up when I smell it now. The taste is also terrible. It tastes gritty and chalky. It’s not smooth and the aftertaste is even worse than the original taste.So the effectiveness - 0/10 - I didn’t see any benefits during my workout and didn’t burn more throughout the day. I did my research about what would suit my specific intolerances, and WPI seemed the 'whey' to go (ha), and Aminoz seemed to be among the best brands on offer, and a local Aussie brand as well, which is a big plus. I got the Smooth Milk Chocolate flavour, and not only is it tasty and mixes really well in a shaker, it has not upset my GI system at all - this is a huge win for me. I would even like to see a checkbox on the order page to opt-out of a plastic scoop in the bag, to further reduce unnecessary plastic use. Lastly, ordering and pickup was a breeze. I ordered after 5pm and it was ready for pickup at 9am the next day. Overall, great first experience, and I look forward to trying a new flavour next time!
Picked up a few single serve samples in the previous order. These samples are AMAZING! No more committing to a giant bag of "Meh" flavor that you don't like. These bottle-ready delights let you spin the flavor wheel without breaking the bank. The range of WPI flavors are awesome, always a taste buds treasure hunt everytime. While some flavors are a tad too sweet, a dash of unflavoured wpi usually turns them into just-right protein perfection. Aminoz team, you flavor wizards, keep conjuring up those tasty potions! My friend recommended Amino Z and I thought I should give it a shot. So I bought a few samples and I loved the Smooth Milk Chocolate - tasted as good as ON Double Rich Chocolate and the price was the best amongst others. I ordered the smooth milk chocolate 1Kg after trying the sample and I'm going to stick to Amino Z Smooth Milk Chocolate. Tastes great when mixed with water. So summary of why I will stick to Amino Z:1) Quality product and no Soy (soy isn't good for my wife)2) Taste - loved the Smooth Milk Chocolate. Love this product. Kiwi Strawberry is probably the best flavour I've tried so far. The Raspberry isn't sour enough unless you mix with some ACV. The Ghostbusters flavours are strong but surprisingly good and make you think you got something from 7/11. Though the Ecto freeze will make your poop turn purple. This stuff works though and i just wish they'd use Methylcobalamin for B12 instead of Cyano-cobalamin and Stevia instead of Sucralose. But otherwise this has legit helped me lose a few pounds and keeps the day time sleepiness away. If you're addicted to monster or rockstar ED like I was this is far better without the sketchy side affects. Mix this with ANS Quench (sour gummy flav) for a potent boost of electrolytes, EAA's and awesome focus and you're good to go.
