So happy with the washer/dryer!I live in an apartment and I just hate having a clothes horse constantly on my balcony or in my living room, and since purchasing this I’ve not had to bring it out!I was a bit skeptic so at first but took the plunge after reading other positive reviews posted here and I’m so glad I did.I also have a 6 month old so the 60min wash/dry cycle is great for the copious amount of soiled bibs and onesies.I use the wash/dry cycle for our clothes, towels and even bedding. And yes, it does take ~7.5 hours for a full wash and dry cycle. But in winter I could have wet bedsheets draped over my dining table and chairs for a week or it can feel like an eternity to hang my kids tiny clothes on a clothes horse so still a win in my book!We put it ... I read the reviews about the E20 “appliance not draining” issues and thought it wouldn’t happen to me. Turns out it did! When the guys who delivered it installed it for me they put the waste hose really far down into the waste pipe. After a month of thinking this appliance was terrible and not worth the money, I fiddled with the hose position till it complied with the installation instructions and managed to wash and dry a set of sheets! Yes the sheets are incredibly crinkled and everything on top of the dryer was super warm but it works!!The wash functions are great and I love that I can set a wash/dry cycle and leave the house to come home to dry things. I’m a big fan now!I just wish you could pause the dry function to check how dry things are.

I purchased this 5 months ago. It is an excellent machine. I wanted to use the machine for a few months before writing a review.I have had no issues with this washing machine at all. It’s very quiet. The clothes come out mostly spotless, sometimes the work clothes with oil and such on them are a little more stubborn. The wash & dry functions took a little bit to work out, I mainly do this from the app. I can control how long the drying function goes for, rather than waiting 4 hours for clothes to go through a wash/dry cycle.Yes, while what others have said in the review is correct, it doesn’t feel like the clothes are dry when removing them from the machine, within a minute or so, they are, so I would think it’s just the condensation or something that is causing ... We have found this to be a reliable machine. The are some good features - when selecting a wash or wash/dry cycle the machine advises the time to complete the cycle, and once the cycle has begun, it clearly shows the time remaining, which is very helpful for time management. We like that it only connects to the cold water, and then the machine heats the water. This would be great if you only had cold water connected to your laundry. It also looks better just having one water inlet and the hose outlet (2 connections rather than 3).We have our hose outlet connected to the laundry tub. Unfortunately this means that after each use, the laundry sink has a lot of scum/fluff around the drain, which needs to be cleaned. The "sports" cycle is misleading - this is a cycle ... Unfortunately this means that after each use, the laundry sink has a lot of scum/fluff around the drain, which needs to be cleaned. The "sports" cycle is misleading - this is a cycle for "sweat", not a cycle for muddy clothes after playing sport! We find some things frustrating - after over 6 months of use, the drying cycle still leaves our washing with a peculiar smell, so much so that we no longer use the dryer for our towels (it's horrible getting out of a clean shower to dry yourself with a weird smelling towel)! After using the drying cycle, some clothes are so crumpled that it is difficult to iron them smooth. No joke. Also, after the cycle is complete, when you press the button to turn off the machine, it doesn't turn off the display...but eventually the machine turns off the display by itself. Very strange, but no big deal.We coupled our washer/dryer with the Electrolux laundry pedestal and drawer, which was a real challenge to install, but we are so happy with the pedestal addition! It is a fantastic storage solution for a small bathroom/laundry (check out the photo). After several attempts on different days, I still haven't managed to connect the machine to Wi-Fi. Maybe there is a blackspot in our bathroom/laundry?Overall, a great space-saving machine!
I was really apprehensive about getting one of these. I had heard they never dry well and they are difficult to figure out and they don’t take large loads… etc etc. But i have to say, this was the best buy for us. The wash quality is excellent and towels and sheets perfectly without shrinking anything. I have dried more delicate items on a half dry setting and it’s works a treat with a little extra airing time after. Yes, if you put on a massive load, it won’t dry it until you have taken half of it out but if you are someone that only uses the dryer for rainy days and emergencies then this is so perfect.
I bought this machine to replace a Haier washing machine that was purchased as it was what I could afford at the time when I was desperate for a new machine, and an aging LG dryer.I was apprehensive of purchasing a washer/dryer combo as I would be downsizing from an 8kg dryer to a 6kg dryer, and had read reviews of things not drying correctly.I bit the bullet and purchased from Appliances Online (who were freaking amazing as normal, taking away the old washer and dryer for free).First load I put through was some gym gear on the WashDry60 cycle. Sceptical a small load would be washed and dried within 60 minutes, I was pleasantly surprised to be proved wrong. My gym gear come out clean, dry and ready to wear. The machine can cope with 10 bath towels for a wash ... Sceptical a small load would be washed and dried within 60 minutes, I was pleasantly surprised to be proved wrong. My gym gear come out clean, dry and ready to wear. The machine can cope with 10 bath towels for a wash and dry cycle, completing in 6 hours. One downside is yes, it does take longer than washing, transferring, then drying, however the fact that one machine takes care of the whole process massively outweighs this negative. I work at home and love being able to chuck a load of laundry on before I start work, and before I finish the laundry is ready to put away. Massive plus. The machine has a great choice of cycles, however wish there was more visibility around the SensorWash feature. I know it is supposed to adapt the wash time based on soiling levels and change rinse numbers based on detergent residue, however some feedback and transparency on screen or via the app on what changes are made would be nice.Speaking of the app, it is handy but buggy. I find the care assistant often doesn’t provide a cycle suggestion, and doesn’t update unless you force it to close and reopen it. I have signed up to the Beta to give feedback. The best feature of this however is the notification sent to my phone and watch when the cycle ends. I love this. It also has the ability to schedule a cycle (e.g. choose an approximate time for the cycle to finish). While you can delay start from the machine, choosing an approx finish time is handy. In terms of times, the cycle times communicated are pretty accurate. With my Haier, I knew if it said 60 minutes, it was really about 75. This seems more accurate with the time being reduced by SensorWash when the clothes aren’t heavily soiled. As well as the screen telling you the countdown, the app also will tell you the time the cycle is expected to finish. The wash quality is good. I haven’t had anything come out needing a rewash. The drying is good too, the sensor dry works well. Like other condenser dryers I have used, clothes can feel “wet” when pulled out of the machine, however a quick 5 second shake and they feel perfectly dry. It seems to be a weird phenomenon with condenser dryers. The dispenser is good, however find the thicker laundry liquids I use doesn’t always dispense fully. I would much rather it had a syphon to ensure the liquid is fully dispensed. I have found using the dispenser set for powder detergent when using this works ok.I also bought the Electrolux branded pedestal - it raises the machine to a much more comfortable height. While the back brackets didn’t fit into the machine, it seems secure enough without. It also annoys me the door can’t be opened anytime during the cycle. My previous machines would allow this as long as the water wasn’t hot or over the door. I would love to be able to run a wash+dry load and be able to remove an item or two before the drying starts as opposed to doing two cycles.Overall, no regrets, highly recommend this machine.
I’ve had my washer dryer for around 3 months now and I love it. Love the big opening. Love the cycle choices and love the dryer. I tried every cycle and was happy with all. We’re just coming out of winter so Ive used the wash/dry cycle a lot and I’m very happy with how everything comes out especially my work clothes which come out pretty much crease free. Having the 3 choice options for how dry you want your washing is great too. I’ve used the vapour cycle a couple of times as well and it does everything they say it will. I’m so glad I got the 10kg drum as I have large dogs and all there bedding fits in perfectly and gets washed properly first time as do doona’s and blankets. This is my first washer dryer and I have to say the wash is right up there with my old Asko. Just got my first water bill with the machine and it has actually used less water than my previous one. That was a great surprise as I have constantly used the dryer component and not having a condenser dryer before I was worried my water bill would increase but it went the other way. If I had to pick something negative about it and it’s not really a negative but a mere suggestion is to have the machine incased in an outer cabinet like my Asko was as this prevented any movement at all (not that there has been a lot). I haven’t tried the remote app yet but I’m sure it won’t disappoint. BEST MACHINE EVER.
I waited a month to review this product to be sure I could write an honest review. After some rain this week I finally got to use it for what it was made for and I can now confidently say that this is an excellent washer dryer. Washes perfectly- dries perfectly- no issues or hassles. Love the 60minute wash\dry cycle for small loads. Love the smart app connection- get a notification on my watch when wash is finished to avoid creasing. Can’t recommend it highly enough - very happy. Also happy with the overall AO experience- definitely coming back when my next appliance needs replacement.
The washer is really good on its own and I really like that you can wash/dry in 1 hour but it only allows a 1kg load on this setting. Which is great for a few pieces such as work uniform. The longer wash dry setting shrunk my son’s clothes. The condenser dryer gets really hot and clothes come out feeling slightly damp so don’t over load it. Towels felt scruffy also. I like being able to put clothes in dirty and take them out mostly dry. The settings could have more flexibility, it has a few good settings and easy enough to operate. I don’t not recommend it but I can’t highly recommend it either. It is worth buying on special at a discounted price for the convenience of wash/dry especially for work uniforms.
I replaced this with my old 12 years washing machine about 2 months ago. Everything has been going well so far including the wireless reminder and control. The noise is minimum. The washing has been good. The drying isn't so bad comparing with the old machine, it will be a little damp but it's pretty much normal for combo washer/dryer. The old machine can set to very dry/low temp dry/etc. Where this one very dry still a little damp but just hand on the rack for a bit and it will be dry (winter time). The size is perfect for me to wash large load of towels or bedding. The only thing I think it should have is the manual mode or manual program mode from app where you can set your preferred washing cycle not by the cycle that the machine have. I was trying to clean tub with just rinse (5 mins rinse or less), without spin, normal cold water, no drying, just rinse, etc. I can't do that so I feel that it's waste of water when I need to do one. I have to set to 15 mins wash.
