I got the Elgato 4K Pro a couple of weeks ago now at release, and I'm in LOVE! I use this on my dual PC setup for seamless highquality gameplay and passthrough for when I'm playing in 1440p and other high resolutions. I played around with the 4K60 HDR capture on my PS5 too and it worked flawlessly. Perfect Capture card to futureproof my setup, and the quality is again magnificent!

The 4K60 is easily the best internal capture card I've ever used. Great if you need to share your feed over multiple apps, (OBS and Discord, for example). 4K Pro also automatically tonemaps HDR games to SDR so your recordings always look right! If you want to install a permanent capture card in your PC, this is the right one!

For context - I purchased the 4K Pro as an upgrade from the 4K60 Pro Mk 2. And it was the easiest swap of tech I've ever had to do. The software swapped without issue, the hardware was plug and play and the similar sizing of the cards is appreciated. Not to be underlooked is Elgato now branding their own HDMI cables (1 included) so I know HDMI 2.1 cables by looks and not endless testing (the nigthmares I've had in the past with this haunt me to this day!). Ive used many capture cards throughout the years but this one has me stumped. Constant no signal on this card from the ps4 on multiple motherboards. Yes, hdcp is off. Currently waiting on Elgato to reach out to me for help. Can’t recommend this card yet. Staying positive though. Maybe i just got a bad card.
Plays my PS5 & Xbox Series X at the highest quality with all the HDR, VRR and ALLM features with no lag. Paired with OBS studio I can live stream In full 4K 60fps on YouTube. Looks Incredible!
Excellent PCIE Capture card, my personal recommendation for anyone in the market. Fluid recording, 8k passthrough, and an easy and intuitive setup experience.
Picked up on release date so I wouldn't have any extra components on my desk for my dual pc stream. Its been ideal for recording and streaming gameplay. Zero Complaints
I have been using the 4K60 Pro for a number of years and had the opportunity to upgrade to the 4K Pro and this is a great upgrade! It is also significantly smaller than its predecessor so if for some reason you tried the 4K60 Pro before and it did not fit in your PC, this one probably will. It was easy to install as well. The 4K X is also great but if you want to make sure you have the best of the best, this is it right here.
Been using elevators since the original elgato, had the Og elgato, hd60s , hd60 pro and now 4k pro. The best capture cards easy to install and software is super easy to use. I use this for my dual pc streaming setup and the passthrough is instant and seamless. Audio easy to get working on 2 pc setup also you can’t go wrong with this card
Software for the card would not load and had to reach out to customer support for the company and get assistance. The company was less than helpful so had to return the product before the return window expired. Extremely disappointed with this product. Research other products before purchasing this one! Unhappy customer!
