Had no idea what I was getting into with a Key Light but I wish I had bought one sooner. Excellent controls, great light spread and evenness. The setup instructions aren't super-detailed but once you realize that you're adding the light to your existing wifi, everything became easy. From the reviews for the app I would set this up by laptop if possible then connect with your mobile device. Very satisfied with this light.

As soon as you get one, you will regret that you didn't get 2. The product is great, don't get me wrong, but maybe 1 light is not enough to fill in with light 1 person in front of the computer.You can change the "temperature" from blue to warm orange, but there is not such a dramatic change, you can tell the difference but the range isn't that big.Still, 5 stars review because it is worth the money, because it is very easy to setup and to use and because it changes everything once you have one.

Researched hard online first and it is every bit as good as I expected. High quality, great design, does the job excellent. Highly recommend!
Got this to keep the light on my face consistent whilst streaming. Has worked a charm. In love with the app feature letting me use it sort of as a lamp I can turn on and off from anywhere.
Only down side is it requires an internet connection to be able to change any of the settings which is fine if you are using it to stream but I have a spotty wifi connection so i can’t always change the settings
Product works great straight out of the box, easy set up via iOS. Simple to use from the app and great for small spaces or when your desk is against a wall.
This is a must for anyone doing YouTube videos or webcasts.Totally worked well with macOS.One thing that was interesting and something to get used to, is that when turning on the power it starts instantly then goes blank and several seconds later it comes back on. I had to look online to research if it was broken however the documentation does mention this and so it runs like a Bondi tram [ Downunder's will know what that means :-) ]
The Elgato Key Light is a well built light with quality material - Gives very uniform and bright illumination as given in the specs. The light frame has good heat dissipation to keep it cool in long hours of use.
