I loved this product but VERY DISAPPOINTED after a few uses as I couldn't sharpen or extend the pencil end for continued use. Nobody has been able to answer this query, have I paid excessively for a pencil which I can use only twice? Normally one turns the end to extend length of pencil, this doesn't happen and I have bought three! Otherwise wonderful as the colour doesn't run and this normally happens for me!

I normally wear black or dark brown eyeliner. The cosmetician at Shoppers Drug Mart recommended 'Midnight' for my green eyes. I always thought navy blue wouldn't look good with my eye coloring. However I was wrong. The blue seems to make my eyes look brighter and whiter. Especially good when I have allergies, look tired etc. I figured the color would scream blue. However it's quite deep and only upon looking closely can you see the blue tinge. At least in my opinion. I pair this with colors such as MAC Jest. Cool or neutral tones. I starting wearing this when the weather turned colder, so I can't say how it would hold up in high heat. The pencil glides on easily and I like their is a rubber smudge brush on the opposite end. Overall I'm happy with this liner and would repurchase. It costs around $22-23.00 Canadian before taxes.

I use the Bright Eyes color to cover spots and red veins... works great! Love, love, LOVE it!!! But once you have used the factory pre sharpened portion, it is absolutely barbaric to work with. The wood is scratchy and dangerous to apply around your eyes (it's intended purpose) and it is extremely wasteful to sharpen. This is an amazing product in an outdated and barbaric delivery system. In this day and age, it should have a twist delivery system, but at a bare minimum, the wood should be smooth like balsa.

First time I tried this. After 2 uses the point was almost used up and I kept trying to turn it to extend more out and nothing happened. I thought it was already broken. Then I researched this product and learned you need to buy a special sharpener to use. Nothing in the description indicated that and I refuse to spend more money to buy a sharpener designed only for this use. It felt like a sneaky way to get people to spend more money. I just sent this back for a refund .
My previous review has been removed - do you only keep the positive ones?! I absolutely loved the precision eye pencil that twists rather than sharpens but for some reason is only available in Blackberry. I bought this one instead, lovely pencil and quality that sits perfectly on the eye but the EA assistance in Boots in Brighton had no idea about sharpening it, didn't sell sharpeners, doesn't come with one!! A £17 pencil and no sharpener. Luckily the kind man on the Chanel counter gave me one. Very disappointing that the EA assistant was unhelpful and they don't appear to sell quality sharpeners that protect the pencil!
This mascara is horrible. It's thick, globby and makes a flakes all over my face. I ansolutelyHATE IT!
I love EA eyeliners and usually buy the ones that twist when it’s running low. They no longer do this in black so I got this one. Beautiful quality but no sharpener. You can’t use a normal pencil one so whilst in Brighton I went to EA in Boots to ask about a sharpener that wouldn’t ruin the pencil. The EA rep had no idea and no option to buy one. A member of staff kindly helped me find one from another make up brand. Disappointing that it’s £17, no sharpener included and no help from the Elizabeth Arden rep!!! Dior & Chanel come with sharpeners.
I bought this because it was the only one that I could find in the color espresso. I have been using the Smokey Eyes pencil for years and since it appears to no longer be available I bought this thinking it must just have a new name. Boy was I wrong. I feel like this cakes on my eyes and then by the end of the day it is dried up and flaking off. I also have to sharpen the pencil just about everyday before I use it. I have yet to be able to get a good line on my upper lid since using it. Would not recommend and wish they would go back to the way it was. Honestly do not know what I am going to do next.
This product actually hurts to use on the upper eyelid. It has so much wax in it !!! You have to use to much pressure, trying over and over again to get results. It drags and tugs on the skin instead of gliding. Its obvious Elizabeth Arden does not read these reviews, more cons than pros on this particular product, otherwise they would correct the problem. I much prefer the old eyeliner pencil that required a sharpener. Glides on, and soooo much easier to blend. I will continue to check out eBay, for the older pencil.
I bought the eyeliner and loved how it went on. Imagine my dismay when the stick would no longer dial up the eyeliner! I feel cheated. The length of the pencil leads one to believe that the contents are at least half way.A lot of money for very little product. Will not buy this again.
