Compared to conventional printers this printer represents amazing value for money. The inks are so cheap and the printer is excellent. The price of the printer is a little higher than an equivalent laser printer but the savings quickly make up for that and more.

Had this a week now and I'm really impressed with it. It's a very well made printer and it was dead easy to set up. I think it will save me a fortune compared to my old Canon.

One of the standout features of this printer are the two large trays that it comes with as standard. We hadn t purchased this because of the two trays as previously we used a printer with one but its has become a real asset. We didn t know what we were missing before but now that we have two trays we have the ability to use our letterheaded paper far more efficiently than before. For any business looking to buy a printer if you print on letterheaded paper or have a cover sheet to your jobs this will massively help you as you can store it in one tray and your main paper in the other.
We have had this printer for a while now and have put a few thousands pages of printing and copying through it. Throughout the many pages it has produced it hasn t one produced a bad job where we have had to redo it or try again it has been the definition of reliable. The prints are very good quality and are produced quickly. We especially find to the two trays useful. We only use standard A4 paper but having the two trays means if one tray runs out mid print it automatically carries on from the next tray and simply gives us a message to say Tray 1 is empty. This is so much better than the print job stopping where you would normally have to fill the paper back up and hope the printer carries on where it left off. If you run a busy office I would recommend this printer
The Epson ET-5800 is an excellent printer. It appears to have been conceived with the user in mind. An example of this is the large screen which shows you everything you need to know and made the initial setup of the device a breeze thanks to the clear and helpful illustrations. We love the two main trays which allows us to fully store our letterheaded paper in one and normal paper in the other. Compared to our old printer where you had to add the letterheaded paper every time you wanted to print onto it this is such a better way to do it and saves an awful lot of time. Excellent printer
We print a lot and so when it came time to changing the printer we wanted a heavy duty printer that could handle a large amount of office printing. Printerland recommend this Epson ET-5800 and explained that it was perfect for office printing and would also save us a lot of money compared to our current printer. They showed us the cost of replacement ink and it was immediately obvious that they were right in what they were saying. The printer has been excellent and having two main paper trays comes in handy. It comes with a lot of ink replacement ink is extremely cheap and the printer has a lot features. If you print a lot and are looking for a good office printer this is it
This is our first time with this type of printer where you fill ink tanks instead of using cartridges or toners. The benefits are obvious just compare the price of the inks with an equivalent laser. So far I haven t found any downsides or drawbacks and inkjet technology has massively improved as we haven t had any clogs of blockages where you need to do cleans using the printer menu. A massive improvement on the last inkjet I had and given the savings I am not sure I would go back to a laser printer or normal inkjet either
Bought this many months ago and still going as strong as when we first set it up. No problems with drying inks like other inkjet printers owned. Lots of ink supplied but we bought extras with them being so cheap. Have already recommended this machine to others
The whole process could not be smoother. Printerland s site is extremely helpful in helping you choose a printer. There are so many it s a minefield but their website has a clever search option where you choose what you need and it shows you the options. Using this we quickly narrowed our options to a couple of models but the dual paper tray low print costs and long warranty meant this is the printer we selected. Delivery was quick as was setting the printer up. Lots of users connect to the printer without much setup and printing is done quickly without fuss. Copying is also really easy and also completed quickly to a very high standard. Excellent printer definitely recommended.
