I have had this printer for almost a year. It will not take any paper thicker than 24 # including paper such as Epson matte presentation paper.(Thick paper is on). Periodically it decides there is no paper in the paper tray. After a couple of hours messing around, turning off, turning, on, removing paper, putting in new paper, it decides to work. Currently it loses the connection with my computer about every other day. The router is about 6 feet away. It also tells me I have no ink when the tanks are over 3/4 full. Again doing things like above, it will suddenly find the computer. I wanted this printer so bad and had my name on waiting lists at several different distributors and am so so disappointed. Bought this about 6 months ago. We print between 1500 - 2000 pages per month, so we're over 10,000 pages by now. If may not be quite as fast as a laser printer, but if you print a lot of color pages with graphics, this blows the laser color printers out of the water! Also, love the scanner and auto document feeder. It is especially helpful to be able to use auto feeder for double sided scanning. Printer also works great with double sided printing. If you throw in the free ink for two years from Epson, you can't beat this deal! Highly recommended.

We needed two printers: one for our maintenance office and one for our production office. In the past, we used HP OfficeJet Pro printers for color, but got tired of frequent ink cartridge changes and HP's obsession with forcing you into online account creation for scanning and ink refills. We were really intrigued by EcoTank, so did our research. This printer has really impressed us. The double sided printing is quick and easy, dual paper trays help larger jobs continue uniterrupted,, and the auto document feeder double sided scanner is a game changer. Bought this for home use. Was really expensive, but it had the features we wanted. Works well. It's running low on ink after only 4 months which is about 8 months sooner than I expected, considering the low print count. Still, it works well and does a nice job producing high quality prints. Would recommend if you need the features and are willing to fork out that much cash. There were less expensive models that had most of the features we wanted, but every other brand and model we looked at had poor reliability ratings.
Our office was using a smaller/older version of the Epson EcoTank and we really liked the design of the refillable ink cartridges. So when we needed a larger printer with a greater capacity we went with this model and it has worked really well. The setup was smooth and the print quality was clear. Some other reviews thought the screen was too small but I thought it was a perfect size. In an initial large print, we did have some ink spillage on the corners of a couple of papers and we had to redo it but I was able to catch it and recorrect it. Also, I noticed in a couple of instances during a double-page print the back side print wasn't straight so it's taking a little time to become familiar with the settings.

With four other printers on site, we were spending over $10,000 a year on toner. It became too cost prohibitive to continue. I felt forced to switch to non-genuine toner, which became a nightmare in itself. We sometimes had to throw away cartridges that had barely been used due to quality issues. This product review is required for product and warranty registration. Bit hard to do a product review when the product has been owned and used for less than a day by the team. But so far the installation of software has been a bit hit and miss on WIFI. All installed correctly once connected to the LAN. Output so far has been good, but it is early days so can't comment to ink usage / overall costs. All set to average as that makes most sense at this early stage. Thought about marking it as 1 star due to wasting my time with a review in order to register the product and get extended warranty.
Purchased this printer for use in our shop for signage etc, from day 1 we have had nothing but communications errors. followed the instructions and feedback from support but still having issues. it will connect to the wifi but then will not print from any of the pc's or Mac in the office. have plugged in via usb now to help reduce connection issues but we still constantly have trouble. we have to reset this printer almost every time that we use it, we have given up with wifi and have to transfer files to the Mac that is connected vis usb in order to print. This product has the potential to be wonderful but with its current and constant connection issues I could not ever recommend this product to anyone.
