In my opinion, a good and solid product, but I don't see anything extraordinary. If I would have a chance, I would buy a cheaper one. One of the disadvantages, or let's better say "a feature", that it requires certain space behind my table for its elbow. It is not really visible on all that nice marketing videos, but in reality, I had to move my table a bit away from the window. I would also advice to double check the legth of the cables, you may need a bit longer cables, if you want to pull them through the arms. And double check the size of the VESA screws. Easy to assemble and set up, I have (2) 27" monitors on it, but they only sit about 6" above the desk, so I am constantly looking down at the monitors, terrible for posture. Honestly I cannot recommend it just for this reason.
Setup is time-consuming, but easy to follow with clear instructions. The arms themselves are great. Stiff enough not to jiggle, but easy to adjust. Just beware if you have very lightweight plastic monitors. The joints are designed to account for the weight of the monitor, so if your monitor is too light (like one of mine) then it can be difficult to adjust the arm even on the lightest setting.
Super well built with great, clean, mourning options. Cable management is a nice touch too! Best arm I’ve found on the market.
Spent years using four distinct Ergotron arms. They're great, but I'm on a smaller desk now and can't afford to have two bases attached, so I went with this dual side-by-side LX arm. Very straight-forward to setup, especially given that I've used the single arms for close to ten years and knew what to expect re: assembly. Ergotron is the brand I seek for this, and they will forever be the only brand I seek for this. The only complaint I have is that those single arms are extremely difficult to pack and move. I saved the box for the dual arm though; lesson learned! Love what these folks do. Nobody else makes my computing profession tolerable at 6'4" like Ergotron.
Very durable monitor arm. It’s a big mount so you will need space behind the desk if you plan on using it, otherwise it will scratch your walls. I used it for 27 inch screen so I can’t get the screens to touch exactly side by side without being so close to me. Overall it did the job for me and I got used to the mount, after a few days.
