Nearly as good as name brands. I've been buying this paste for a long time and it's great. It is slightly grainier and dryer than other brand named pastes and does need a little longer in the cooking off process ( I do add a little more oil at this point to make sure it doesn't get too dry). To ensure I get a long life out (no mould) of this and all other tomato pastes I transfer the paste to a freezer friendly container and freeze it. When I want to use it I just cut off a chunk and add it to my cooking. As always I add a spot of sugar to the paste to counterbalance the acidity of the paste ( I do the same with tinned tomatoes). This paste needs a spot more sugar than name brands (probably cos it has less added sugar to start with)A perfectly good paste that I use ... MoreNearly as good as name brands. As a side note the label is awful but the jar size is good

Best tomato paste on the shelf. We don’t buy any thing else. You get enough in the jar for multiple meals and it has a perfect tomato flavour and is perfectly thick. slow cooker with crushed tomatoes and mince you get a perfectly think flavoursome spaghetti sauce or it’s even just perfect on a pizza base highly recommend

Great all-round product. Great all-round product, we often use this in bolognaise, for making pizza, burger patties, and anything else with a tomato base. Great price too. Tip - if you store it upsidedown, it keeps it from going mouldy and will last for weeks - months in the fridge (not sure why exactly)!
Versatile and tasty but made in China. The quality and flavour are evident in this product, affordable price point, no artificial flavours or preservatives noted on the label. I have marked it down as such a simple product should be Australian made. Woolies please do better at supporting local Australian farmers.
My usual brand. I always buy this tomato paste. It’s always good quality and has a rich tomato flavour. I add this to my pasta sauces to enhance the flavour and also use it to spread on tuna sandwiches. This is definitely a staple to keep on hand!
Best tomato paste. I buy this all the time, so was grateful to receive this for testing. It's a great tomato paste, quality always good, never had a bad batch!! Great rich tomato flavour, I always use this in my pasta sauces. Will definitely always buy this!!!
My Usual Brand. I have always bought this brand. My sauces always comes out delicious with the added taste of rice tomato. In summer I spread it on bread with a bit of olive oil and add tuna & lettuce it’s a refreshing tuna sandwich delicious.
Best Tomato Sauce in Australia. Taste is super, even by spoon. No metallic after taste. Colour is perfect, just the minimum amount can make your pasta or any other sauce red and lively. AI tried other options from other supermarkets and some more expensive options but this is by far, the best. Price is amazing and quality is excellent. I like it over the ones in cans as this cheaper and the glass jar preserves the taste. Halal Suitable. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed.
Amazing Paste! Ever since discovering this paste over a year ago, I haven't bought any other brand. It is such great value for money and honestly can't tell the difference to other brands. I like to:- Freeze the paste up in small batches- Make pizza sauce and freeze those in small tubs- Drizzle about a teaspoon or so of oil inside the jar (olive, canola or vegetable.. really whatever is on hand), shake it around so it's all covered and back in the fridge to reduce any mouldI love using this for pasta sauces, pizza and chilli con carne
