I have used eastwing hammers my whole career. Framing hammers, 2 lb sledge hammers and welding chip hammer. The best out there. Bought this one for the integrated magnetic nail holder. Works perfect on 16d and ever 8d. Hammers length And weight are the perfect balance. The handle grip is easy on the hands. Use it all day with no problems

Good Hammer for the price, I’ve had it about a month now and it’s been used every day. No complaints with it. The black paint does come off but that’s to be expected when being used
A great hammer which is no surprise as I’ve come to expect nothing less from Estwing. The one piece design is strong and study so you can rest assured that you will have this hammer a lifetime. The side nail puller is great in tight spots and the magnetic nail setter is a nice touch when on a ladder and reaching out to start a nail. The waffle texturing on the hammer face ensures you get good, positive drives on nail heads. A quality Estwing product made in the USA that I’m proud to own.

Although only 19 ounces, it feels like it hits much harder. Nice balance and swings great. Face is a bit small but overall is a great framing hammer. Highly recomend for anything but finish work. Get the smooth face version for that
Very nice hammer, my co workers think its a little unbalanced but I really like it.Dont expect the black paint to stay in the head for very long if you are using well.I work in concrete so it goes through a lot and is holding up really well.
Being an old handyman makes you decide to choose what works. The weight and length are great for someone who uses a hammer frequently. The milled head keeps the strike true and you get fewer bent nails. The steel shank makes your leverage work without the danger of breaking the tool.
