Description says it works with the eufy app and says it has wifi location. This does not track or do anything other than turn on it off or tell you it’s stuck in a corner. 9 out of 10 times it doesn’t go back to the base. Battery goes flat quickly. It does not find its way around the house and basically just does circles in one room. When contacted with my issues I was told to video it and send it in, been down this road with products and I don’t have an hour to follow it around. I just bought another unit that works properly. Poor experience all round

This is my first robovac and so far I am very pleased! Set up took some time but very simple. The eufy was entertaining to watch as it has a mind of its own and I couldn’t stop watching it clean!!! It did take a lot of time cleaning (maybe my house is just dirty) but as you can see in the picture it got all that dirt and cat hair up!!! I’m going to try the mopping function today. Don’t forget to use the little tools it comes with as they are very helpful to remove the hair from the brush! make sure you empty the dust pan after every use because it definitely fills up.Another feature I like is that I was able to share the device on the app with my boyfriend so he can also use it when he’s home or not home. Easy to clean after use too! I’d definitely recommend this product!

I wasn’t sure how well a device like this would fit into our house. Would the dogs (a primary reason for wanting one) attack it? Would it handle the hair? Will it maneuver the obstacles in our house? It’s been a great purchase at a reasonably low entry price! It picks up dog hair very well and our floors are notably cleaner. The dogs watched it at first and now ignore it.It’s a great purchase. With that said, there is no control of the device once it starts. It goes on its own path and it can’t be directed into a particular room (for instance it seems to spend a lot of time in the living room, even coming back into the room after being in another). It misses the kitchen because the battery will go low since it spent so much time elsewhere. Also the dirt reservoir ... MoreI wasn’t sure how well a device like this would fit into our house. It works great and does the job. I will enjoy expanded features in the future.

Got the G20 during prime day deal. This is product cleans cat hair off my hard wood floors like I would have done it lugging around the vacuum cleaner myself, well almost. It missed a couple of spots but I can go over it with a good deep cleaning. I recommend this product for pet owners since we have to vacuum every other day to keep up with the pet hair. Here are some recommendations when using the product:1) put up your chairs. This can save a lot of time for the robot to get around them.2) down load the latest app firmware upgrade before you use it. The upgrade saves a lot of time and has better algorithm in maneuvering around objects. So you can have the unit run through your abode on one charge. If it doesn't do it on one charge, it does pick up where it left ... MoreGot the G20 during prime day deal. The G20 is my third Eufy Robovac to add to the 11S and G30 Verge Models I already have in my home. The G20 is advertised to have Smart Dynamic Navigation for Efficient Cleaning but I find that it is anything but that. I constantly find it sitting in random corners of my home with a flat battery unable to find the base station. This in the same areas where the G30 Verge and the 11S units had no issues returning to the base station.I really cannot speak well enough of the efficiency of the Robovacs (model 11S and G30 Verge) in general however this unit (Model G20) does not provide the same peace of mind as the two unit I already own. If you don't mind walking around to find where the unit ended up when the battery died, then this would be a great unit for you. I like this vacuum, but I don't quite love it.My apartment is fairly large and fairly crowded, with lots of tables, chairs, rugs and assorted furniture dotted around the place at random. There are lots of nooks and crannies and not all that much open space, so it can be a challenge for the mapping algorithms of a robot vacuum. I think the Eufy performed fairly well in this respect. It gets a little confused when entering the walk in closet in my office because the entrance is narrow, but other than that it finds its way around OK.The suction power is impressive when you consider how quiet the vacuum is, but I feel this vacuum could benefit from an additional brush. It only has the one on the right hand side, so the vacuum isn't all that efficient at lifting the dust and fluff from the floor as it goes. With an extra brush on the other side it could get better coverage. All in all I'm pretty happy with this. It's not my favourite robot vacuum, but it's cheaper than comparable iRobot models and it does a decent job.
I bought this to replace a Roomba 675, a robot vacuum so loud it's impossible to be around for long durations. As such this review will be a direct comparison between the Eufy G20 and the Roomba 675.Noise levels: The eufy G20 is significantly quieter even on the highest suction setting, and smarter about collisions; it's capable of stopping itself right before hitting something. The Roomba is so loud that I can hear it from down the hallway of my apartment building, through my front door. As someone who works from home, the noise levels of the Roomba got to the point that I would rather not run it during the day or leave the apartment every time it's active. The Roomba will also barge full speed into everything in its path, including toes, so the extreme level of ... MoreI bought this to replace a Roomba 675, a robot vacuum so loud it's impossible to be around for long durations. The Roomba is so loud that I can hear it from down the hallway of my apartment building, through my front door. As someone who works from home, the noise levels of the Roomba got to the point that I would rather not run it during the day or leave the apartment every time it's active. The Roomba will also barge full speed into everything in its path, including toes, so the extreme level of noise is accompanied by the pleasant drumming of the Roomba's plastic bumper slamming face first into every single hard surface it can find, or my own screeching as it tries its best to eat my entire foot (the eufy isn't immune to this, but is at least gentler about it).Cleaning ability: I usually run the eufy at the second to highest suction setting. It does a decent job picking up dust and a great job dealing with hair (the included brush cleaner is great for cutting hair off the roller). However it has only one brush roller, and the roller itself is smaller than the one on the roomba. The roomba has two rollers, one brush and one rubber, both at a wider dimension. The roomba consistently will pick up larger totals of dust and debris per week, holding much larger wads of dust and hair when I empty it. The eufy doesn't do as well, but nonetheless does a satisfactory job, but necessitates running it more times to make up the difference or doing some spot vacuuming manually later.Pathing: Eufy's smart dynamic navigation is junk. I'm constantly finding spots that the eufy has missed, and it can miss entire rooms of my 550 sqft apartment during an entire run (there's 3 rooms total, so that's a lot of missed cleaning). I've also seen it consistently loop the same path between my bedroom and kitchen several times in a row, seemingly trapped in an existential crisis of some sort. In contrast, the Roomba's stupid barging around actually manages to consistently cover much more of my apartment, and rarely misses anything it can access.Battery life: The Eufy has weaker suction at full blast, and doesn't last as long as the roomba (Eufy does about an hour at full blast, Roomba does an hour and a half). It does make up for it with the ability to recharge and resume; but you can just rerun either of them manually, so it's not that useful of a feature.Size: The eufy is slimmer and is able to fit under more things without getting stuck. My dishwasher, clothing rack, coffee table, and several other things are coincidentally right at the perfect height for the Roomba 675 to get stuck; the eufy has no problems.App: Both have the same sort of scheduling configuration that you can set per day. The eufy has a gimmicky manual control ability that isn't that useful. Both have spot cleaning ability. The eufy has suction level settings that the roomba doesn't. The eufy has a crippling flaw in not supporting 5Ghz wifi; pairing it to a google wifi required disabling my wifi and hotspotting from my phone with the same wifi name and password and running the app from my tablet. After jumping through hoops the app has worked flawlessly, but if you don't have the resources to do this workaround and you're on 5Ghz, you're completely out of luck. The roomba irobot app works fine on my wifi without any workarounds. Conclusion: If noise level is a problem, this eufy g20 is a decent sidegrade and much more bearable to be around. If noise isn't a problem, the roomba 675 is a cheaper, better, and more consistent cleaner
Had an absolute disaster with delivery but Eufy Customer Service were fantastic and got a replacement sent out with a different courier ASAP. Very grateful to have ordered directly rather than through Amazon.Once received, set-up was simple, side brush installed, foam bumpers removed and vacuum set to charge. In the mean time, I got the app downloaded and a schedule set up in a few minutes. Still waiting for inspiration on exactly the right moniker for my new little buddy. The vacuum is fantastic, suction is comparable to most of the handheld/cordless vacuums I've tried and it toddles around on its own overnight. I won't say it will entirely replace my regular vacuum, but it has greatly reduced the need for it to occasionally rather than daily. My dog doesn't shed much but he is long haired and it seems to deal well with both his and my hair. Can't really speak too much for its effectiveness on carpet as all of our carpets need to be replaced and even my regular vacuum (miele) struggles but the Robovac still gave it an admirable shot. 10/10 for effortAll in all, very pleased with this purchase. It's an affordable, effective introduction into the world of Robot Vacuum ownership and I doubt I'll ever go back to pushing around a regular vacuum every day.
Not the workhorse my 3 year old Eufy G30 is. The G20 Hybrid seems to lose focus and forgets where it has cleaned and skips portions of the floor. I watched it today clean one edge of an area rug over and over and over and never clean the rest of the rug. I have no doubt the Eufy people make good products, I just don’t like this particular one. I did call about the fact that it doesn’t run for very long. They suggested sending me a new battery pack but they couldn’t because the battery packs are back ordered and I have to call back in a couple months to see if they’re back in rather than the company contacting me when they’re in. I also don’t like the fact that it does not show the mapping or cleaning history.
eufy by Anker's G20 RoboVac is quite nicely made. The plastics used are high quality and it feels sturdy and robust. It's easy to set-up and is pretty much ready to go out of the box.Once it's charged you can send it on a cleaning run with the buttons on the vacuum itself or through the app. While cleaning it is fairly quiet, avoids most obstacles, follows a reasonable pattern, and is gentle when it bumps into walls and furniture. It's low profile and fits under most furniture easily. It had no issues traversing from carpet to throw rugs to tiles floors.Overall, I was impressed with it's ability to navigate the lower floor in our 2000 square foot townhouse. It cleaned the living, dining, kitchen, bathroom, and den in about 1.5 hours. When it finished its first cleaning run the bin was almost completely full or dirt and carpet fuzz... and this was on a carpet that looked clean and had recently been manually vacuumed. With that said the carpeting in our house is not the highest quality and sheds quite a bit with each cleaning. The app to control the vacuum works well on my iPhone 12 running iOS 15. It's an easy to use app and offers the ability to check the vacuum's status, send it on a cleaning run, change some settings, and set up an automated cleaning schedule. The app does not allow you to set no-go zones since the eufy is not a smart mapping vacuum. All in all... quite nice, especially for the price.
