While the app works great and allows you to see a map of your space, you CANNOT block off areas digitally. This would be a game changer for me in my space, but it's sadly not a feature.- I wish the Robovac would avoid carpeted areas automatically when it is mopping but this is not possible. You'd have to manually move the barrier strips to make it not go there.

It started out great, with a dog who sheds a lot the G30 cleaned well. However, 12-18 months later and it barely cleans up the dog hair.After contacting support I was told that it was out of warranty and that Eufy couldn’t provide a refund or exchange which I understand. That’s what warranties are for. But I didn’t expect the G30 to be useless after 18 months. Eufy provided no insight as to what might have caused the issue or a resolution just that my misfortune would allow them to improve the products moving forward.I’m not saying that this will happen to everyone but my experience is proof that it can happen so purchase with care.Very frustrating and I won’t be recommending Eufy to family and friends. I’ll be trying a different manufacturer moving forward.

This is such a great item. There are so many good things about it. The basic setting does a relatively good and in our open plan living area runs for about 30 minutes covering about 120² ft and using about half its battery. This leaves plenty of power for any missed areas using the remote control and spot cleaning features. I also like the different suction levels for different surfaces and workload. The only thing we don't get is a reminder to empty the dust tank. We often have to stop a cycle to empty the tank. Haven't tried the mop setting yet but like knowing it's there. You also get notifications through the app if it gets stuck or picked up and reminders for cleaning filters, brushes etc. I have already recommended this to family, it's so good
This is my second robot vacuum. I bought my first roomba 3 years ago so I am comparing this one to that. So far this one blows that one out of the water.Pros: this one travels in a pattern and maps out your house. If the battery runs out before it finishes it will recharge and then go back and finish the job. (roomba the battery would die in the middle of the job and you would have to go find it and hang it up)It is Very quiet. (you could not watch tv with roomba running)When it comes close to an object... door, wall, etc it just gently taps it and moves on. (my roomba would repeatedly beat on an object leaving black marks)It has not gotten stuck even once in days. This machine was pretty good for the deal I got on it, half price sale, for a total of 14 days…. Day 15 it died. One wheel was cocked upwards, wouldn’t go down and just spun in a circle. No suction anymore. My husband and I spent an hour trying to figure out what the issue was and couldn’t find anything wrong. Returned it. Was so bummed because it kept my floors pretty clean and the dust this thing sucked up was mind blowing. It was relatively smaller then the others so it fit comfortably under our coffee table and in smaller spots. Didn’t get stuck on much but the strips worked half the time to keep it out of no go zones. Will look for a better one.

I have tried this machine 4 times since it's arrival to my home and each time it hasn't done what it's suppose to do. It constantly gets stuck somewhere and doesn't even go to every room on one level of the house. It went behind my kitchen table, a very small area, and stayed there for 10 min. and then eventually came out and did another area horribly and then went behind the kitchen table again! Super frustrating! It went under our recliner chair and couldn't get out without my help and then in the bathroom it closed the door on it's own and was stuck in there.
