The French press makes delicious coffee, which fortunately goes without saying. But the materials are so noble, the workmanship absolutely flawless and the design so wonderfully Scandinavian simple that it makes me almost sad to have used a simple Bodum French press the last few years.

We have always wanted a cafetière that stays hot for longer and this one does. It also looks attractive and keeps looking good over time. Overall, we are pleased with the product. Another benefit is that it can't break as other cafetières can.
The French press makes delicious coffee, which fortunately goes without saying. But the materials are so noble, the workmanship absolutely flawless and the design so wonderfully Scandinavian simple that it makes me almost sad to have used a simple Bodum French press the last few years.
Purchased the product in earlier Dec '20 nine month later the handle fell off. Very poorly manufactured (cheap spot welds) not worth anywhere near the purchase price.Returning to John Lewis for a different product.
Excellent coffee maker with thermal inner so keeps hot, there is no glass to break, be careful not to get the handle too wet and jug must not go into dishwasher but the filter bit can. Have got through many cafetiere's in the past and I think this one will last as nothing to rust either.Have bought one as a gift too!
This cafeteria is solidly made and quite easy to clean and reassemble. It looks good. (wasn't sure about the wooden handle from the photo but it's better in reality). Most importantly the plunger works well to produce good coffee, stays hot and it pours very well. Got tired of cheaper glass cafeterias but was sure it could justify the price, but glad I went ahead.
Here Eva Solo has done a great job again. Super quality, super design, super functionality. All guests have been fascinated so far and after months we still are. We would buy again and again!
