Hinges cracked and handles pulling the blue plastic casing away from the internal insulation. Probably one or two lifts away from breaking off (should be able to hold an esky full of ice). We live 6 to 9 hours from nearest BCF. Not impressed.

It’s seems quality control is poor on this model. The one I had delivered had the lid hinges fitted incorrectly so it would not seal. When I returned to the store 5/6 units they had were also poorly assembled. I found and older one in a box that was made correctly.

We bought this before Christmas to replace a 30 year old Essie that had pretty much done its dash. The young salesperson (female) showed us a number of brands and we settled on this one - right size, solid construction and well insulated. It has done all we want from housing Christmas drinks to going on the road and keeping things cool for up to 6 days. Very happy with this incredibly well priced product.

I bought this a month or so ago and have used it quite a bit. Not sure it will keep ice for 6 days unless it is filled to the top and the clips can be a bit annoying. But it’s great for size and weight in comparison to similar coolers on the market...
Bought this as a gift for xmus, works great, as intended, however no bung on the drain, you have to purchase that in addition and there is not even a warning on the product about this nor from stuff. what is even the point of leaving this tinny item out as a separate purchase other then make someones day bad and the extra cost
Put a bag of ice on drinks in the 46L Evakool at start of a 20deg day in our tent annex, went to beach and at the end of the day came back and the ice was all melted. Rubbish, wont be buying this brand again! The cheap plastic hinge is also very noisy.
The esky is still in Perth so we haven't used it yet but we purchased 2 of the same brand last year and they were about 157 litres. We take them to Perth and fill it up with our shopping and we find that if you cover the top of the esky if it isn't full with towels etc to stop the condensation escaping the frozen water bottles are still just about frozen when we arrive home in Port Hedland. We do the trip in 2 days as it is 1900 km away and we have arrived home when it was about 45 degrees and no problem. When we have bbq's we fill the esky with frozen bottles with the drinks and 4 days later the drinks are still very cold and with the high humidity and temperatures in the early to mid 40's does a great job. I bought the 47L, it goes pretty good i cant complain, Not bad - good soize, it fits a couple cartons (cans) and and a bag or 2 of ice and held ice/slurry for a few days camping in the summer central qld heat, pretty decent esky. I went this over the frostbite - you get what you pay for.
Have the smaller one and thought this size would be great for those unexpected (over) purchases that I make at the grocery store. It’s just perfect for the boot, not too big so I can still fit other things. Not too heavy either when full. Love it!!!
Used a couple times since purchase. One bag of ice kept food fresh and cool for 2 days in low 30 degree daytime temps.Hint - BCF will price match some of the bigger online guys. saved $80 on this item.
