It took me quite a while to decide between this one and the regular F-GT. But what sold me to the F-GT Lite was that it was a lot more affordable and offered great features with the ability to be able to fold the cockpit for portability or storage. The cockpit arrived pretty fast with no damage. It didn’t take me too long to build. The mounting holes aligned perfect for my t300 and t3pa pedals. I like the mesh seat which gives you breathability and the quick release system that allows you to swivel the wheel base to easily get in and out. The seat is pretty comfortable and offers padding in the head, lumbar and thigh areas. It’s a bit like sitting In a camp chair for me but more comfortable. Went together fairly well.Bolts used for seat support and steering swing arm are hard to align for reassembly.The clamp holding steering swing arm closed was /is very tight, and beyond my sons ability to open and close. He has to step in and out of the seat to play. Thrustmaster Ferrari 458 doesn’t quite fit on properly. Angle adjustment bolts on swing arm get in the way. I’ll need to modify the clamp.Despite those minor items, it is a much enjoyed and well used simulator.

The F-GT lite is a great product and is great value for money considering what it offers and compared to other seats. At first looking at it I was worried it might be a bit flimsy but was pleasantly surprised at how rigid it is when using it. The only improvement I wish it had was if you could make smaller adjustments. I am tall It would be nice to lean the back of the seat slightly more but the next adjustment is to much. Overall very happy. Going to have a lot of fun with it!

Love this setup. It's less conspicuous than other rigs, and is very adjustable. It handles the 5Nm version of the CSL DD really easily. It feels kinda flimsy when you first sit in it, but then with VR I don't notice any movement and it feels great. It's worth mentioning the following issues: it didn't go together easily (the bolts holes were a PITA to line up and I needed to use a mallet), the pedal platform lifts up if you use certain layouts (solved in the Formula layout by having the pedal support at quite an obtuse angle), and the head rest adjustment is far too coarse (it's either too far forward or too far back, but is still usable). Overall I'm stoked, but there's definitely room for improvement.
Ill start by saying dealing with Pagnian was just fine and the rig was delivered really quick. Only 3 days and delivered on a Saturday.However as for the rig itself I can't give it more than 2 stars. I'm only 6ft tall but to use this rig I need to detach the pedal section from the main chair and move it forward about 200mm, pressed up against my TV cabinet. If I don't my knees are right up against the wheel mount and I can't use the pedals properly at all.It's not a comfortable chair either, I needed to add some low back support before even an hour in (I'm 25, I don't have a bad back). So unless you really need a rig that folds away for space I would recommend spending a bit more on the GT pro or GT xtreme, I wish I did.
It’s great to be able to change configuration from open wheeler to GT seating positions if needed. Easily folded up and put away.Only gripes are the pedal box lifts under extra heavy braking load if you use a pedal set like a Thrustmaster TLCM. Also it’d be nice to have smaller increments between position adjustments and more adjustment options for the steering wheel.All things considered, a good quality product and an awesome option for people who can’t have a debated sim room/space.
Was taking a long time to decide which cockpit to purchase as I am quite fussy and I had to consider apartment living. This item has been a great purchase for your not overly serious racer. I'm running Fanatec clubsport 2.5 wheel base, and the setup is extremely rigid. I'm 6" so you can easily adjust layout to suit height. Overall, it 100% hits the brief if you looking for a fold away setup. After a few goes, you can literally setup and pack up on 30secs.
This is a surprisingly solid bit of kit. Well made and once familiar easy to assemble and disassemble. My only issue is that for me comfort becomes an issue after about an hour with my *** going numb. I previously had the gt ultimate. Not sure if everyone will encounter the same discomfort. In terms of practicality and storage it nails the brief. Very impressed and a solid compromise.
