The Artistico watercolour paper manufacturer is a world-renowned Italian mill located in the north-central region of Italy that dates back to the mid-13th century. Fabriano Artistico Traditional White is all-natural; no chemical brighteners or bleaches are used to alter the all-cotton fibre. Each sheet of Fabriano Artistico is mould-made, with two deckled edges, from 100% cotton and is naturally bright white in colour and Acid-Free. This fine art paper is both externally and internally sized, which means that each sheet, inside and out, has a consistent texture and absorbency. The sizing remains odour-free when the paper is wet and is durable enough to handle the most laborious scrubbing and scraping. It is important to note that the paper has a "running watermark" along the long dimension. It is not localized like most sheets.
