Feather Hi- Stainless Double Edge Blades (100)

I first bought a sample pack as I wouldn't want to have 100 useless blades sitting on my shelf. I loved these, actualy they were the only confortable and sharp enough blades for my coarse italian beard so now that I found the one I am compatible with, I took the best value pack which is that one. It wasn't worth it to get the 200-pack as anyway at 38¢/each it is gonna last me for years even if I just use these for 2 shaves and that I shave every 3 days. You could still use it for a third shave AT MOST... but it won't be confortable and you will get twice more nicks so for the price of these... don't be cheap and don't over use it.There is a difference though between the first and the second shave with these. These aren't really "beginners" blades, at least not without a coach to give you a tutorial first of how to use it as if you learn on your own for the first time, you will definitely cut urself a few time with them but once you'll master the art of shaving, you are gonna LOVE those blades. For me it's Feather or nothing now.

Yes, these blades are very sharp, but that allows one to shave by letting the blade do all the work and applying no pressure. It works very well in a mild razor like my Edwin Jagger DE89. The first shave can be a tad rough, but subsequent shaves are really smooth and unbelievably close. My only caveat is that they are a little pricier than other blades: for example, you can get 200 red Personnas (also an excellent blade) for about the same price as 100 Feathers. But it's still a huge saving over ****** cartridge shaving.

I tried these blades first as a sampler. I find them much comfortable than the yellow Feather blades. They give me a very smooth shave with no irritation at all. This unlike the yellow Feather blades. They also last for 4 and sometimes 5 shaves for each blade. The black Feather is my favourite blades then comes after them the Gillette.

I'm a hairstylist and I know all about the Feather razors and the sharpness they provide for cutting hair. I wanted to dabble into straight blades for finishing around the hairline and neck areas for my men clientele. I bought the samplers and found that these were the sharpest of the bunch. Hairs are cleaned away with little to no effort. The only downside is that you have to be extra careful when loading into the blade holder. I did cut myself when I accidentally touched the blade. I barely touched it too! Never have I experienced such a sharp blade. Great for getting that hard hairline detailing right down to the scalp too! Highly recommended!!!

If your shaving style is hack and slash, look somewhere else. As edged weapons go, these razors are probably responsible for more self-inflicted damage than anything else you use in the home.I've used many other brands, and the Feather razor always stands out as the sharpest. My go to razor for everyday, with the grain, two-pass shaves. Don't use these to experiment with new shaving techniques or aggressive settings, or there will be blood.

Aside from saving a ton of money and thumbing my nose at our corporate masters who sell us over-priced disposalable razors, these Feathers blades are superb. A smooth, comfortable, and very close shave. They last a long time. I tried several of the popular blades on the sampler pack I purchased when I bought my Mercur safety razor from Fendrihan. These Feathers blades are the best. Love the products Fendrihan carried and their service is excellant.

After almost forty years of twin blade cartridge shaving, I started double edge safety razors four months ago and won't look back. After sampling just about every blade available on the market (Merkur, Wilkinson, Derby, Astra, Dorco) (Feather not included) , I developed a couple of preferred brands and types, but still not having tried Feather, I ordered some. As far as having a sharp edge goes, they immediately impressed me as feeling far superior to all others I have tried. I do not get that until ten shaves with the Feathers! I use them with a Merkur 23c razor and they are a perfect match! Although Feathers are extremely sharp, I just follow safe shaving procedure - and they have never drawn blood on my face.

Much better and cheeper than anything in Walmart

Shaving with Feather blades and a brush with soap works better than those 3 or four or five blade things that I used for years. I get a month out of a blade. It's sharper and last longer than any other double edge that I have tried. The spray cans of gel and foam work fine but I'm trying to stay away from products where i can't pronounce anything on the ingredient list

Probably Good For SOME Men...But Not All Men

Well it provides you with a close shave...so it does what it is supposed to do...HOWEVER...it cut my throat to shreds! I bled A LOT...EVERY TIME...with EVERY ONE of these blades which I have used so far. The problem is not with me or my razors or my technique...it's the blades. They are just not suited to my throat...I don't get cut as much with other blades. The only way I can use these blades without bleeding is when I use them in an adjustable razor...and then I have to set it to a setting of 1 or 2...which prevents cuts but takes many, many, many more passes to do a good job. So for us guys with sensitive skin, these blades are not good...for other guys though, this is probably a good blade. However, they are well made and economical.
