Fellowes Automax 600m Micro-Cut Shredder Black

really well packaged on arrival, fast set up, eats through most card paper and i like the feature of just stacking paper and walking away leaving it to do its thing.comes with bags and oil (so dont make the mistake of buying extra oil) it'll take years to go through, the only negative i can see is the lid has a plastic catch that holds it shut, i should imagine over time if this catch ever broke then its out of action, should be metal really as the lid is quite heavy and needs force to close. on the whole though very well priced compared to others on the market and suites our needs very well, ive seen some negative comments regarding the cardboard bin, put a bin bag in it like your supposed to, rather than taking that bin out to empty and you wont have any issues.

It is quite slow, but more importantly, it does not a;ways pick up the papers in the tray to shred. The papers have to be adjusted all the time before it would catch them for shredding. So although it is meant to be automatic feed, it is not really.

Very good shredder, nice and quiet but is quite picky when it comes to the size and thickness off the paper. Its seems to stop shredding if the paper is slightly in the wrong place or it is thin paper so it can't quite grab it. Other then that a nice shredder.

This product does exactly what it says it does. It is extremely quiet and copes easily with 500 A4 sheets in just a couple of minutes. Highly recommended and excellent value for money.

This machine is a workhorse - it shredded 8 x 60L bags full of paper non stop over about 6 hours. It coped with staples and thick envelopes of up to 16 sheets without skipping. However, the autofeed is not fit for purpose as it frequently jams and just stops mid cycle, so you cannot leave it alone. This lead to manually feeding all my shredding.

We Chose this machine for ease of use and the speed shredding could be done without having to stand over it.It has proved its worth and our shredding pile is now up to date.Due to the security level given by this machine we also recycle the shreds in our packaging

Had a fellows shredder for many years that finally gave up. So impressed with it we immediately looked for a similar new one. We chose the auto max 600M for ease of use, it is great put your shredding tidily in the tray and it does it for you. No more laborious paper feeding.The shredder is compact and looks modern with clean lines.I would not hesitate to recommend the machine

Its neat and it is fairly quiet. It shreds paper efficiently and I love the fact that you can put up to 600 max sheets and press the button and leave it and within a few minutes they have been shredded

DO NOT BUY!

I purchased this product through Office Max/Depot. It was very expensive! I tried it and it takes an hour to shred 500 pages. Meanwhile every page must be in line as if it were a perfect ream of paper or it doesl not work! Be advised this is not a returnable product - as they claim!

The strong, silent type

This was one of the simplest setups, I have ever done. This bad boy comes out to play, right out of the box. We tested the unit for manual and auto feed functionally. We gave it the gamut of things to eat and a couple things stood out right away. Firstly how quite this shredder was and how the flawless the auto portion was running. It is a tall piece of equipment, but you definitely get a champion when it comes to getting your shredding done!
