American Ultra II is our most advanced series of instruments for players looking for the best. American Ultra II guitars and basses are characterised by first-class materials, precise workmanship and state-of-the-art design and are both state-of-the-art and made to last. The Fender American Ultra II Stratocaster HSS has a body made from selected alder with pronounced contours. The quarter-sawn maple neck with our Modern D profile and smooth Ultra Satin finish ensures effortless playability. The 10-14 compound fingerboards made of ebony or maple are equipped with Ultra Rolled Edge, medium jumbo frets, Luminlay side dots and Graph Tech TUSQ nuts. The tapered neck heel and the curved contours of the body provide unrivalled access to the high registers. Under the bonnet, two Ultra II Noiseless Hot Strat pickups paired with a Haymaker humbucker deliver sweet, crystal-clear cleans to blistering leads - all without a hint of hum. Our patented S-1 switch splits the Haymaker for even more tonal variety.
